ChicksDigHarleys
What browser are you using OP? I just ckecked with IE8 and I have a cancel button. So a poster helps you... you insult him... you are wrong.... you then insult him again calling him a fan boy.... yeah have fun in another game. You will not be missed. Well, TBH this ^^^ Edited January 19, 2012 by ChicksDigHarleys
Failstar
You do know his suggestion and link work right? Yeah I assume he didn't like the smug way I presented it. Which is legitimate, it was 3:30-4AM and I was in a bad mood. Now it's 9AM and I have no clue what I'm doing here, back to sleep. Hopefully some folks solved their issues with that link. Ricanther
You do know his suggestion and link work right? You do know, someone with a valid complaint was respnded to as a "troll spree"? I'll go ahead and just end this troll spree now. If you don't have a "cancel button" (Even though I know you do and just think you're AMAZING with MS Paint) I have this AMAZING workaround. Ready? Ishikawa
if you look at the message "you have not game time" means you already canceled your sub. The rest of the info you forgot to delete. Now if BW can ban this troll we can get back to other things and not lies
SithyJerry
Yup same problem here. IE9 ..had the cancel button some days ago when i changed my payment option (already had a reoccuring plan set up) from paypal to my CC directly. Both were on file so it was just a matter or making a choice. Anyway after browsing through the customer service section, which i often do to stay ahead of issues. I too thought "hey maybe you're overlooking the button", but indeed its gone. And the system thinks i dont have a sub. When on my payment history it clearly shows everything is in order. Clearing cookies and/or cache might help. But frankly thats the standard CS answer in everything related to account issues. This is a forum side issue. Most likely a database error. Like any 5 year old could tell just by looking at the contradicting info the account management pages give. FYI i had a sub setup back on the 19th or 20th of dec. Little-Bird
I'll go ahead and just end this troll spree now. If you don't have a "cancel button" (Even though I know you do and just think you're AMAZING with MS Paint) I have this AMAZING workaround. Ready? Step 1: Log Into Your Account Step 2: Copy/Paste This Link https://account.swtor.com/user/subscription/cancel Step 3: ??? Step 4: Profit Thanks for this. I was subbed for the six month recurring. I went to cancel because of the performance issues/ misrepresented graphics issues/ exceedingly poor customer service issues and low and behold, no cancel button. I'm not rage quitting, just voting and making myself heard with my dollars. For those of you still hanging around, good luck. Hopefully they will fix things, this game had so much potential. UKAzzer
I had this problem - I think it MAY be if you are already on the last day of your free time, but your first payment hasn't yet been taken... probably some "days left" variable is set to "0", and so the page thinks it doesn't need to display a cancel link because you don't have a subscription (even though you *DO* have one setup, it just hasn't been charged yet ). I tried in Chrome & Firefox (both of which are up to date). It's not a browser issue. The cancel link was there a few days ago, it only vanished today when I actually went to cancel (waited until the last day as I wasn't certain I could finish using my free playtime if I cancelled early, since I couldn't use my free playtime at all until I set a subscription up in the first place). Anyway - the direct link to the cancel page given by others worked a charm, and let me cancel fine, but it is a worrying sign that such a huge game, with so many sales, can't even code a reliably working subscription/cancellation page. They have about 3 writers that have serious Vendettas against SWTOR. They sing the praises of ****** games like STO.
snooggums
You are not alone. This is my account page. http://i.imgur.com/OlmVP.jpg As you can see it clearly states that i have subscribed. This is my "subscription" page http://i.imgur.com/TFyhV.png So... where's the cancel button? Oddly enough, if i go into "payment history" my Credit card and subscription plan still show up as shown here http://i.imgur.com/4MAQ0.jpg I guess a workaround is to change my CC info so it no longer matches my card, but the thing is... i shouldn't have to figure out lame workarounds to cancel this game if i want to. As for the people claiming that there's no problem at all and that people are lying when they say there's no cancel button. well, i hope this makes you see that for some of us, this issue does exist. Your screens look like mine AFTER I CANCELLED, so apparently YOU ALREADY CANCELLED. Obvious troll is obvious.

hosferatu
Same problem here with no cancel button. It also told me I had a subscription on one page, but on another it said I was out of time and had no sub. I just wanted to change from the 6-month to a one month. I want to get my main to 50 and my alts to the fleet before I quit for a while and wait for these bugs to get sorted. I was fine before the patch, but now even though the meter says I have more FPS it is more choppy than before and almost unplayable. I tried to view my subscription and it says i have none, but yet my game time end date is recurring. I just went ahead and set up a new subscription for monthly. now it says i have a subscription, and only 1. If my card gets charged twice I will just phone CS until they reverse one of the charges. Trolls gonna troll, haters gonna hate, normal people gonna act rationally.
UKAzzer
I simply deleted my CC info...better safe then sorry. Its not like these guys are prone to foul ups or anything and what I have seen of the CS...you would need ans act of congress to get your money back I struggled to find where to remove my CC info. For those also wondering - go to your subscription page, then go to "Show Your Payment History". Your CC is listed here, and you can delete it with a couple of clicks. It's not entirely obvious - usually payment history is just that, a history of payments, of which nobody should have any yet - I was looking all over my account details page etc.!
