Purple lightsaber crystals

Why aren't they avaliable at relativly low artifice levels? so wait after 300 years all purple crystals in the galaxy disapper? i see tons of npcs with them. but have only seen level 50 pvpers with them, this needs to be fixed some of us like having large color variety. and while i'm here i'm going to complain about black sabers, they need to go they're ugly beyond belief and they don't fit in the setting. /endrant please not this is not a thread about artifice it's a bout purple crystals in general. ok now actually /endrant Edited January 19, 2012 by terfwars

Ya the game is great and working awesome, but I don't like the color of my boots atm.

You might want to dig up some of the crew skills posts on this topic, they explain in detail, but, what the heck I'll say some of it here. Purple is only found on Imp level 50 pvp and operations weapons. The OP weapons have removable gems while the pvp ones do not. Note purple at the present time is available only on Imp side, Reps get cyan color instead.

 

Artifice crystal colors were change in late beta, you can look at some of the database sites and see old recipes for different colors that were removed.
