No Pvp on Low Population

I'm on a low population server (Crevasse City). The new patch just does not allow me to advance my character. My character is level 50 and on republic.

I cannot get into a warzone because the queue never comes up.

I cannot complete my pvp dailys on ilum.

All I can do is grind out my space dailies and other random quests if I cannot get a group for a flashpoint.

I have unfortunately have been sticking it out on this server in hopes that Bioware will put in server transfers or get more people to migrate to this server. In the meantime I had hoped to build my character in WZ and dailies. I cannot even do this now.

This patch does not work for low population servers. Time to go back to the drawing board Bioware. Figure something out that also works for low pop servers.

It is the dame on my sever, which is a low population server. Not a single lvl 50 on either the republican or imperial side was able to queue up a warzone due the update 1.1. I believe that putting the lvl 50s in their own bracket was too quick of a move to do. If it was 40s-50s in their own bracket it would have been better at least.

I understand the change up on Ilum with regards to the daily missions and weekly missions, but that gets old quick, especially on a low population server.

But this new update haulted character growth after lvl 50 on my server, which angered a lot of individuals in my guild (not just lvl 50s either).

Sad to say... Server population problem.

Game have just started. BW is waiting on how populations are when people start subscribing. Before they merge servers or let people move from servers to servers.

Nothing new in that regarding MMO devs. But if BW did something different for the better, I'd be surprised!

Common Sense: Don't play on low pop servers.

Sorry my friend...that is the worst response. It would make more sense to remove expertise, so 50s didn't have such a crazy advantage over other players who couldn't attain the same.

What you are suggesting would create another issue. Longer queue times just to log in. If that's what you'd really suggest, then you would kill the game, because many don't have the time to just sit idle and not have some form of "progression."

Common Sense: Don't play on low pop servers.

My friends and I joined this server 2 days after launch with the full expectations that the server would have more population over time.

The choice was 30 minute queues or low pop and no queue. When you are low level I easily picked the no queue.

when i started playing the the populated servors wher over filled and would of had to w8 for 40 mins to get in then they went and uped the amount of people so that is no longer a problem but im not going to rerole my 50 and restart my gear grind b/c bioware fd us they should have wated a lil before doing this and the ppl that wher qqing about the 50's in bgs i went threw it to it wsnt that bad the reason whole teams wher geting steam rolled by a few 50s was lees about gear and more about skill

Re-edit: I'm tired and trying to explain to people that this is something Bioware should have been aware of if they would have looked at the player activity on the standard and low population servers is getting to me.

Republic - Assassins of Sion: Even though at 10am Eastern time on launch day, the server was listed as "standard", "common sense" would have been that "hey, it's 10 am on a Tuesday! lots of people are at work and will not want to roll on a full server, this server should get busier" Well, it never happened.

Seeing the about half of the east coast servers are listed as "Standard" during what some would expect to be peak times, I would expect this issue to be the same on them too. Bioware simply screwed up by implementing the 50's only bracket in the way they did at this point.

The very casual player who spends 2 hours a week playing and 40 hours that week complaining about it Won. Simple as that, they won. Can't wait for them to start hitting 50 and find out they are hitting for about the same amounts at lvl 20 as they do at 50 with that buff they got, the difference now is that the people they are up against have been farming gear for 2 months and now take 20%+ less damage and hit 20%+ harder.

If it was my choice, they should have created a 10-35 bracket, a 36-50 bracket, and a 50 only bracket. Now, the BIG difference is that the 36-50 bracket would make Expertise useless as a stat. You can still work on all the dailys and such as you would before, but the expertise complaint would be gone. The 50's bracket would be for those who want to actually have PvP battles, not just play PvP.

I am on a low/medium server too, and I just found out that I can't do my dailies and such and that is a problem. Since us 50's, already ahead of the game, have nothing to do, we pvp to enjoy our time. They just took a MAJOR content away in hope of bettering the game by making it fair. I laugh at that. I can get killed by a lvl 10 as a 50, so how is that unfair. There was no point of making those brackets at this point in time and should have waiting to do other things since there is no que for flashpoints, you gotta find people, which are all mostly lower lvl than you.

I understand that they want to balance the game, but at this juncture, they should fix the problems with pve, and ilum was a given. However warzone should have been left alone
