Just a simple poll.

Write if you are quitting because of Illum and the lack of a roll back.

Also post if you aren't. If we don't give them feedback we can't help!

well all of our top pvpers about 20 of them are leaving because of this. FAIL MORE BIO

I don't know how many people are going to quit, but what's significant here is that Bioware is creating a feeling of distrust in the community. WAR or any other examples of failed MMOs did not just have buggy launches (which SWTOR did, but which many successful MMOs have also done), but they repeatedly failed to address core issues to the game and did not properly (and promptly) respond to complaints made by players. The populations of these many failed MMOs did not drop to nothing immediately: they just dwindled and dwindled with nothing to encourage disillusioned players to return.

And that is my concern. The population will dwindle this month: that would happen on anything but a flawless launch; it was to be expected. But with patches and responses like this the ice will get thinner and thinner: once you reach the point where no one expects anything from you, the game is finished and it will be too late. For now it's too late for serious rollbacks, and Bioware won't actually catch most offenders (let's be serious, here: they just won't). But what about next time? I'm already suspicious that Bioware isn't serious about this game... and i suspect many others who are retaining their subscription feel the same way.

Not quiting because they made changes in which they tried to improve the game. Yes, it

brought up some unforseen consequences.

The most important thing to me is that they acknowledged the mistake publicly and vowed to work towards a solution.

Earning trust isn't about doing everything right the first time, it's about making things right when possible.

At least we know that people who quit won't be able to respond and muddy up the forums with complaints. They can take their worries elswhere. These forums are for subscribers only.

I'm a pvper, and I approve of everything but Illum atm. I will retain my Sub.

The fact that they finally fixed biochem and buff stacking, plan on fixing illum tomorrow made it pretty obvious that this issue will be resolved quickly. Quiting now is more or less throwing a fit because they messed up 1 thing while fixing several others. And TBH this game is better without them. You cannot please everyone. The issues with the q's will be fixed once more people hit 50. And then the lowbies will be crying because the q's are so long.

And world pvp is never meant to be fair. You will be outnumbered. If you wanted open world pvp and are crying now this is the fruit of your fight to maintain it. I play republic on my server and I knew this was coming. I played WoW in vanilla as horde back in the days when Horde was immensely outnumbered. Open World PvP been there seen that, pass thx.

Myself and my guild (50+) have all quit tonight. We play on a server where the population is 20-1 against us. We knew it would happen when it started and we made sure to roll on the weaker side. We all complained about the normal things but we were all resubbing. We're experienced with mmorpgs and it always takes some time to work the bugs out.

R1.1 changed that. We're pissed about Ilum, but you know what it happens, bad patches happen.

What normally happens though is the Community Dev's rally the troops, they provide the feedback and while we all *****, we do so out of frustration for the game we enjoy.

Tonight Biowares Community Devs (in my opinion) have shown a total disregard for the basic rules of Customer Service and the community. They've pissed off a significant percentage of the player base.

What would I have suggested. While unpleasant, a rollback to R1.D, a free day, an apology coupled with a request for more players to get involved in the Test Server to prevent further occurances and a valor boost for each player on the server to help lessen the blow to those players that geniunely did not abuse the situation.

Unsubbed, bored and not sure what to play..guess an mmo break for a bit is in order. It was not just ilum, when you go to cancel you can pretty much pick every reason they give for you choosing to leave.

PvP is horrid, falsely advertised and utter garbage.

Ability delay is a joke in a modern day mmo, Lag is a joke, PvE end game is a joke, RNG gear rewards is a joke, the random un hotfixed bugs are jokes, the customer service is probably the biggest joke of all, the people still paying for this garbage are also jokes.

Oh lol, also not being able to log back in when you still have time left on your subscription because you currently do not have an active subscription is also one big fat joke. Pay for a month, but you don't get it...should have known.
