No dude...

The issue is that on most servers, Ilum is a ghost town and there are not enough people to kill on the republic faction. Daily quests = 50 imperials fighting over crates.

Try to be a little more out of touch would ya?

They need and want to fix 100000 things but they can't do it.

The problem is this crappy engine. They wanted it cheap and thought they are so skilled and could fix it, now they failed hard.

If they had taken a proper ening, the one from Crysis or Unreal, they could put all the work into content instead of messing around with basics.

They know their mistake... the person who made the Hero Engine decision has been banished to facebook games.

You should apply for a job with Bioware, you seem to have all the answers.

All that is going to fix the horrible graphics performance and the Imperial faction imbalance somehow?

So tell me what exactly Bioware can do to fix the faction imbalance? It's the players that choose what faction to play. Are you saying Bioware should force Imperial players to switch to the Republic so you can play the faction you want to play?

like a ton of games out there, they can lock down a faction from character creation.

There actually are ways to deal with faction population imbalances in PvP. Granted, most of them are far from perfect solutions, but the problem can be addressed (however imperfectly). Unfortunately, few MMORPG developers get it right, and those that do often take a long time to get it right.

That just makes the pve group mad and will take forever things to balance out. New players might not even play on that server because they can't be the faction they want.
