JediTev
Ok, I'm looking for info on crafting, I was told to report here and I don't have time to go looking thru 6k some odd threads. I have a bunch desh, aluminum, and what not and I'd like to craft this stuff. I don't have my ship yet so I can't do it there. Can anyone help me please? Adric_the_Red
You don't need a ship, just a companion. And you don't need to be anywhere in particular to give your companion a crafting task. Hit N. Click on whatever crafting skill you trained (Armormech, Armstech, etc.). Select the item you want to make. Click send companion (up to 5 times). Your companion will go off and make the item(s). Be aware that your companion will be unavailable until the "mission" is done. Indeed, you can craft anywhere your heart desires - even if you're in Flashpoints, in the middle of questing, doing PvP, etc., you can still send companions off to complete crew skill missions or crafting. Do note, along with Adric_the_Red's advice above, that you can only queue Crafting crew skills up to five times per companion. You cannot do so with Mission crew skills and Gathering crew skills. BlackRifle
Crew Skills forum has a few guides that are stickies.
mathisk
Another point to the crew skill quests... They all cost money, and their price goes up for each tier or quests. If you don't pay attention, you can get on a roll and end up spending far too much money on the quests, so beware...
