Force push (KB) too much?

This ability is over the top and being discussed by several players I know. Inquisitor KB is about right for a KB CC but Force Push throws people very far too far. Force Jump alone is awesome but to have both is a little too much. Simply tone down the distance of the push. Anyone else agree?

Force Push is on a significantly higher cd than the inquisitor knockback and it is also single target. It should have a longer knockback to compensate.

 

More importantly a shorter knockback could actually make Force push more powerful in some situations. With the current magnitude of the push I actually throw most targets through the fire in huttball which does significantly less than if it were shortened and knocked people to the ground on the flame jet.

 

In fact, I'm not actually sure why this would be a problem. The knockback still leaves people in range for range attacks (it can be followed by a force leap) and since it resets the cooldown for force leap in many situations the warrior/knight will be following you shortly it shouldn't be a problem that often for melee. In the rare case that a warrior/knight uses the power to attempt to disengage while remaining in combat the one minute cd should balance that out, especially given that several classes have vanishes that can drop combat completely and are on a 2.5 - 3 min cd.
