DWarrior
A thread about crystal restrictions. Is it tied in with lore or is it more than that? Are they simply doing it because it's what it was like in the movies (red evil, blue green good)? I love being evil but I don't think that should restrict me from using that beautiful green shade that is making me so jelly every time I see it. Seems like a trivial way to limit options to the players. Edited January 17, 2012 by DWarrior
Sky_walkerPL
Before Battle of Ruusan everyone could take any lightsaber color they wanted. <- that's the era where TOR takes place. After the events in battle a split appeared and generally only three colors were common: Green, blue and synthetic red color crystals used by Sith in newly crafted sabers. But even in times of great availability of colors Sith used red crystals while jedi avoided them cause it was connected to rage, blood, anger, negative emotions which Jedi avoided and Sith loved. And because Ubisoft wanted to keep it closer to the lore they linked colors with light/dark side. I'm clueless though why some colors are available for Republic only while others for Empire only (or "almost only", but it doesn't make much of a difference) Edited January 17, 2012 by Sky_walkerPL
