Taytox
Hey guys, been reading the forums for some time, finally got my Sage to lvl 50, and i went healing right off the bat, i enjoy healing and have done in all the other mmo's i have been in. I don't really wanna feel like i have to respec to dps each time i wanna go do quest on illum or belavis i think it's called. My question is.. Do i need to gear myself up first or my companion and wich companion would be best to use in this situation? I know i can dps abit still with disturbance and telekenetic throw, but still feel abit gimped in that front, even tho i can solo pretty much any boss with qyzen Thanks in advance and sorry for my spelling. Zelol
I played seer from 40-50 and am still seer spec and i had NO difficulties with doing anything, even the class quset finale was pretty easy. I use nadia all the time. When you just have normal packs of dudes to kill send shield nadia and yourself, send nadia in to do the awesome aoe and throw a Forcequake in the mix, most should be dead at the end of your channel. When you have elites to deal with, in goes nadia, keep shield up, put your dots on the target and use project/TT if your are both in good condition otherwise heal. Remember to use interrupt and stuns. Also dont forget the the abilites that reset cooldowns and drop incoming damage when using a companion. Sometimes its just easier to get the initial agro of the targets on you and heal yourself cause you heal yourself for more and let nadia kill them as she does tons of damage. Dots are your friends. Tfikki
As a Seer Sage we can solo the daily heroic on ilum - most classes can't. For those kind of (hard) encounters i use tanking companion (with his aoe switched off). For all the rest - I prefer Nadia. Gear yourself first - you're far more important than a companion.
