Tenetke
First slicing, now I could buy the argument that it was about the economy until the announcement that biochem/cyber is next. Are those two also hurting the economy also? No, it's just another example of Bioware caving to the forum QQ crowd. Now when I asked this after slicing and suggested biochem people said "noo, they wouldn't do that" well lol I was right. Out of crafting skills I don't think they are done with slicing biochem. Reason why? Well there are still so many people that aren't satisfied with it being nerfed enough yet. They will continue to complain, and BW has shown they listen to the complaining intently. They will ignore the fact that their launcher has made the game unplayable for many (I was one of them, thankfully my gf uploads the files she gets so that I can patch myself). No, those bugs are classified as too "difficult" or "time consuming" to fix even though people on the forum have done it for Bioware. Oh wait, what was their response? To inform those people to take the bug fixes down. Further they "warned" people not to actually fix it because that could make their game unplayable. News flash idiots, if your game is already unplayable who cares if the fix might make it unplayable because even if it messes up you are no worse off after than you were before. As for classes they seem to be holding off till that "first month" is out of the way. We've all seen it on other games. They wait till after the first free month is up to really piss off the player base. So I'm guessing their next big patch will have the big class nerfs. My guess on that, trooper/bh and cons/inq. That seems to be what the majority of the no skill crowd qqs about (and no, neither of those are my main my two mains are jk guardian tank, and smuggler gunslinger though I do play both and find them to be easy they aren't OP) Now to see how many of those that said if BW nerfed biochem they would leave actually will. What nerf exactly? did any of you morons expect them not to adjust the fact that you could level a profession, make the crafting bops then drop that profession? Anyone thats been playing these kind of games for any amount of time would have saw them adjust the consumables to 400 biochem req. I saw it coming weeks ago. A lot of people with common sense did. How stupid can you be? I mean honestly, you kids think that was going to just stand? is this your first MMORPG? Only nerf I see is an immediate heal nerf, which is somewhat offset by a temp max hp bonus. Cry harder you big fat babies. Gomfedj
The whole bizarre thing about this, is i think the way they changed it DOES make biochem one of the only "useful" crafts to get once you hit level 50, you can NOT craft a item better than pvp gear right now. So honestly all crafting skills will become "worthless" at some point, but cybertech (for grenades) and biochem (for bluffs) seem useful at least (( being a biochem from the start (i was hoping i could make medkits to heal others, being a healing spec scoundrel), i am bummed to see it going this way, i figured i could make those 400 skill reusable's and give them out to others, but now that they make it require 400biochem that is dead.... Untill you give EACH of the different crafters something that is "JUST for them" and is useful in pve and PvP, your gimping them and making the others look better. I am not so much into crafting to make "money" i do it to help others and myself, which everyone that is dropping stuff and going cybertech and biochem they are doing it for the same reason, to make their character better... Putok
Probably one of the gathering skills. The returns are so much more than pre-nerf slicing it's ridiculous. Fortunately, I don't see many people bragging or complaining yet. That said, I think most people that have played with MMO economies before knew that gather skills would blow slicing out of the water by multiple orders of magnitude by the time a decent number of people hit 50, and actual inflation started to kick in. Well dad, you are sadly ignorant of the fact that they are also making the rakata items do the equivalent of the green quality versions, which is likely what the OP is complaining about. Perhaps you should educate yourself before running your mouth and making yourself look bad.

You could not give them out to anyone, those are all BoP anyway.
