Potential fix for Champ bags?

What if they just removed the tokens for relics, and maybe implants from the bags "loot table" and just made them buy-able with the coms?

This wouldn't change the rate you get a token, but it would also remove the awfulness of getting a relic token when you finally do get a token. It sounds like a win-win to me. Especially with the news that PvP gear mods will become removable again, it won't be so bad landing that chest piece token twice.

Its actually a fair question -- seems to me BW has dug itself a big hole here. RNG is terrible, it not only enrages a lot of the player base but even the lucky ones probably dont bother posting/reading on the forums and so have no clue they are lucky. Not a smart move. On the other hand, removing RNG now, with no adjustment to currency costs or acquisition, creates another gap between those under the old and new system. I would stop the bleeding and go to a pure currency system that is predictable and so doesnt piss people off.

Sometimes developers just have to live with their mistakes -- next time spend a little more of that $300m in development costs on employee salaries....

i prefure to work for my rewards...and it seems the only thing you need to work for is pvp gear

so apparently working for your rewards means grinding bags with nothing in them repeatedly over and over and over, while the guy beside you gets 5 bags at lvl 50 and 4 pieces of gear.

Awesome...

Yeah that's my point, there's no way they can just up and remove the RNG at this point in the game, even if they wanted to, which they shouldn't imo. I really think this is a great option and hopefully we can get some dev to answer on the subject.

SWTOR forums taught me simple fact: even if certain thing is obvious bullcrap - there are always people who are happy to consume it and defend their right to do so + they demand others to enjoy the crap as well.

Random failtokens and duplicates are perfect example of this behavior. And yes - I want to have decent full PvP suit soon after my toon hit lvl50. I don't have whole life to spend in MMO and I don't want to pay money for a game which force me to farm entry level suit for a month or two.
