Stanjoly Posted January 16, 2012 Share Posted January 16, 2012 The Lightning balls on Phase two and three of the Soa Hard Mode fight. My Guild is using two assassins to taunt, and then pop the balls. This technique works well for us, however, the damage from the balls seems really inconsistent. as a popper, I keep an eye on my health at all times. after popping a ball, my health drops significantly. I have noticed that usually I end up (from 100%) at around 60% or 20%. (when Force Shroud is on cooldown) Is it me, or does it seem like they explode multiple times occasionally? I used to think this was perhaps because when you run in to pop them, you also get hit by the shock pulse, but today I went from 100% to dead two or three times from one lightning ball. (on different attempts of course) Leading me to wonder if they might be bugged, and if anyone else is having this issue. Also, the animation they do when they explode often appears twice. Blutelf Posted January 17, 2012 Share Posted January 17, 2012 Soa spawns two or three balls at the same time. Sometimes two balls will spawn in one. You can only barely see them if you have nameplates enabled. Always call for a shield before popping them in case there's two. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
