DarthSublimitas
Ha! Thought that would grab your attention Anyway, I think, after a long time playing MMO's, that the current trend is going to be to cater to the "casual player." Make things easy, bring the nerfbat down hard, gimp the game to the point of where you can play it blindfolded with both hands tied behind your backs and still one-hit kill that raid boss. We see this now in WoW. The nerfbat has fallen, yet again, it's now 33% faster to lvl from the 70's to the 80's, the heroic mechanics have been nerfed hard so now it's easy to do them. I just lvled a new disc priest to lvl 30 in 2 days! Wow, where's the challenge??!! But, I think this has mainly to do with all the QQ'ers out there complaining and the devs listening to them Just watch what I say, soon, we'll be able to lvl our toons to lvl 50 in 5 days without any effort at all. It's really sad as BW/EA is just in it to make money and to maintain the sub populace and forget about meaningful gameplay. But these are just my observations as of now. I'm sure others, whether we want to admit it or not, have noticed this trend. Don't get me wrong I enjoy playing this game (and WoW as well. I play games on their merits even though I don't agree with the companys' financial tactics) and didn't really come here to QQ but rather to point out some observations as to the current direction MMO's are taking. Anyone else notice this?

imtrick
Well, I guess nobody really cares about current MMO trends lmao... If by "current MMO trends," you mean "what WoW is doing?"... nah, can't say I care much one way or the other. Not trying to flame, it just seems way off-topic here. Skaara
I'm cool with it. I enjoy me a nice laid back game and if I ever lose my mind and want to play a game where I slam my face into a brick wall over and over I will find a game that appeases to that play style. There are reasons why people jumped ship from everquest when WoW came out. Show me one hardcore game that brought in tons of subs after WoW. Maeleena
I completely agree. I think that game developers should do what they want to do, and not listen to the incessant whining of people who are only whining to whine.
