Boss fights on Voss as a Gunslinger

Anyone else finding the fights against the various bosses on Voss more than a tad difficult to pull off as a gunslinger? Did you find you had to gear up/level up to take them (like get to 47 and use gear from commendations to take them?)

Visionary - Defeat Lord Beldiss - lvl 45 vs lvl 45 with Corso, no luck

The Trials - Defeat the Gormak Forces - lvl 46 vs lvl 46 with Corso and Guss, neither was useful

Crafting Nightmares - Lure and defeat craftsman leader - Failed with Guss

Darker than Dark - Lure Lord Renik and take his source of power

Tried to make sure I used all my cooldowns

Scrambling Field and Defense Screen to reduce damage

Open with Aimed shot, follow with Florish shot to reduce their armor, vital shot and shock charge for the dot damage, then sabotage charge and blaster fire (charged shot and quick shot), cool head and all in, then rinse and repeat till quickdraw is up and use that.

I am trying to interrupt when I can with dirty kick and distraction.

Something wrong with the rotation or is it just gear and level that I've got wrong?

Yes the game seems overly difficult at later levels. I dont mind a challenge now and then but struggling against every strong/elite mob I HAVE to fight is not fun. Specially those times when I absolutely HAVE to use tank stance and healer pet just to get through it. I specced Infiltrator because I wanted to play as a DPS class ... not to play as a DPS class most of the time. Even then, god help you if you dont CC.

Some of my friends have already gotten extremely frustrated to the point where they got fed up and played an alt for days, sometimes chad I not offered to help (on the supposedly solo'able class quests). Luckily, because of the Shadows, tank stance, and Tharan's (hilarious) CC, my CC's, and some exploitation (in some fights) ... I have so far been able to get through it.

Makes me almost feel bad for any player that rolled an AC and only has DPS options. Luckily, im playing a Trooper tank next ... spec'd as a tank and using healer as pet, which is supposedly the second most OP combination in the game (next to healer + tank pet which can solo almost anything).

TLDR: Bioware failed at game balance. Need to nerf the Strong mobs damage, by half! And AT LEAST make sure the elites are pullable by themselves.

Thanks for the reply, good to know.

Seems like some of the bosses are easier with some classes/pets than others. As a smuggler / gunslinger I'm finding it tough with any melee type of boss just because our best attacks are based on crouching in place, so kiting lowers my DPS - I may still have to consider it in these cases I guess.
