danarchist
When reverse engineering things like medpacks and stims that stack, do I have a better chance of getting a schematic if the stack is larger or should I be just crafting one at a time and RE'ing them individually? I read the entire RE post above and did not see that in there.

danarchist
Is there any advantage to RE'ing a larger stack though? Currently I do one at a time myself as it seems it will give me more chances, but logic would lead me to believe the more items in a stack the more "chances" of a schematic I should have. And yes, I know using logic on a mmo board is like selling hair gel to wookies.
Obstero
The only advantage to reverse engineering a stack is that it takes less time. Basically, when you RE an item you roll a die. If it falls to a specific number, you get the better schematic. When you have a stack, you roll a die for all of the items in that stack at the same time, ergo it seems that the chances are greater.
