HeIIspawn
So Im new to this. Which side have the upper hand in PvP? Is it like wow where horde usually wins due to less idiots on that side? (Well atleast it seemed like beeing stupid was a pre requisite to roll alliance on my server). Which race is best for pvp and why? Which class is best fo pvp and why? Is there a class that reminds of mage in wow (fire or arcane, not frost) If You would reroll a pvp class what would you choose and why? Are there bugs o obvious flaws (that will be corrected in future patches) that make a class overpowered in pvp if so which class and how will it be in pvp when the bugs ae fixed? Which is the best pvp class if you dont concider obvious bugs, flaws or design blackouts? Thx

engrey
So Im new to this. Which side have the upper hand in PvP? Is it like wow where horde usually wins due to less idiots on that side? (Well atleast it seemed like beeing stupid was a pre requisite to roll alliance on my server). Right now? Empire has more players, but both sides have their fair share of classes that can hit like a truck and be top healing. Which race is best for pvp and why? It does not matter as TOR does not have any racial that impact a player, though they are cosmetic (Like doing a certain dance or emote). Which class is best fo pvp and why? Right now? That depends on what you want to do. Smugglers and Agents (Stealth/Burst trees) will be doing some of the quickest damage 1vs1 and tend to kill players easily. Their damage is fast, so if a player pops a shield and CC breaking cool-down, they may be able to get away. Trooper Vanguards are some of the best healers/tanks in the game. I have seen one on my server that it takes at least four Empire players to bring him down, as he can heal himself and with the armor, mitigated a lot of damage. Jedi Consulars and Sith Inquisitors can also be top damage as well as top heals. Both classes have a channeled attack that slows and has little to no cool down. If you are into slowing players or using a lot of CC, those are your classes. Is there a class that reminds of mage in wow (fire or arcane, not frost) The ranged classes in TOR are as followed. Agent Inqusitor Bounty Hunter Consular Trooper Smuggler Though keeping in mind that within those advanced classes, you will have a long ranged and more short ranged play style (The Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior are the only two non-ranged classes, even within their ACs). An example is the Agent. You can Operative or Sniper for your advanced class. The Operative can then choose between more stealth and rogue type abilities, or go into a healing tree. The Sniper can spec into more of a long ranged sniper or balanced type trees. As for what plays like a mage? I really do not think any class does, as they all play like Star Wars characters instead of WoW characters/classes. While some classes are easy to compare, like a Trooper and Paladin, the two games are vastly different. If You would reroll a pvp class what would you choose and why? Right now? It would be a Smuggler or Operative, as the burst and stealth are so deadly that I drop (15k HP) in about 10 seconds. Are there bugs o obvious flaws (that will be corrected in future patches) that make a class overpowered in pvp if so which class and how will it be in pvp when the bugs ae fixed? Which is the best pvp class if you dont concider obvious bugs, flaws or design blackouts? Thx I have not really seen any major bugs with certain classes, though some of the knock-backs and leaps that certain classes get will bug from time to time. It can be annoying but that is balance and something BioWare will fix with time.
