why do i never see them? typically, if a class is OP, the masses reroll to it. But the most played class has got to be sorc/sage. i cant do a warzone without at least 3-5 sorcs. i maybe see an operative here or there but every game is dominated my sorc/sages. i play on a couple of different servers and its the same story on each.

Nice twisted rethoric, unfortunately in logic it have a name and it's a falacy.

I have other for you: Burglars are in prision, I am not in prision hence I am not a burglar.

And by the way, people are rerolling them in mase now, 4 between 20 and 30 in my last wz.

They are OP because their damage is sick from stealth, huge out of it.

You can't play against them, just watch how they kill you. Even if you happen to break the initial stun, you are on 30% of your hp and unless you are able to flee - and they are not in the mod of chasing - you, you are already dead.

Nice try tho.

Because they are annoying to level and playing them well is like spinning plates with two resources to manage. Not to mention having to wait on procs to do real damage outside of openers.

I'm playing a shadow for a while as my guild finishes getting to 50 and already I can see the quality of leveling life is better.

the main reason I dont play one is I havent maxed out my first class yet (sorc) with end game gear. the other reason is my sub is about to run out and im not renewing otherwise thered be another operative running around in PvP. thirdly they arent core to the star wars universe so arent going to get as many players as light saber wielders. Many people will try it and realize that if they did not have the skills/gear to do quick takedowns from range with their first class, then they will not be doing that while trying to figure out how to do it once every 2 minutes up close and personal.

The other problem is that the 50s bracket will even out with gear by the time they get there.

Ops is a great class for basement dwelling/spreadsheet weilding min/maxers, and they are already playing the class.

I still think it's funny that people are suprised that a class meant to do high front end situational single target damage is doing high front end situational single target damage.

It took a great amount of willpower for me to actually stick with my scoundrel. The excitement of back blasting, and shooting first was overshadowed time-wise by having to spam my lowest damage ability against a single mob at a time because we have no real AOE. Companions can't keep treat so we just roll with our dps companion and end up tanking all the mobs anyway.

It's a frustrating leveling process.

The classes to me seem balanced ive palyed all 8 till 15 or 16 and thought they were pretty balanced.it just is the skill of the player playing the class and the armor

Play them to 50 and get them some PVP gear. You'll be thinking quite differently I promise you.

I though about this and thank god tis true, WZ would bem uch more terriblei f not.

but anyway the answer is, looks and story.

notice that operatives are either overpopulated or alot of them on empire side, but scoundrels both slingers and scoundrels are not.

smuggler story is lame and petty, and looks and animations are terrible.

You must be lucky OP. The well known exploiters on my server are going out with their last hurrah right now before the patch hits abusing the hell out of stim stacking, broken rakata, and their broken powers that allow them to keep using one OP move constantly. Most of the ones abusing this specific bug are bad PvPers, but the bugs is actually powerful enough that it lets them kill people easily and quickly. I know a few are bad, especially a notorious one since I was watching him backpeddle out of fights when he got caught with his pants down.

Of course you got people defending this cheese even though it's obviously broken.

On my server the majority of rerollers/alts are scoundrels/ops. If it's a under lv30 lowbie, 80% of the time (out-of-the-*** statistics yay) it's a scoundrel/ops. And you can kinda tell they're rerollers/alts coz of the surnames/legacy names.

And there's more of 50 ones every day too. At start there was hardly any around, now very often you get at least pair of them running together and tearing up new ones. (1 is manageable, 2 on you = trolol ). Max I saw was 4 in one WZ so far few days ago...looking forward to moar as a squishy...not :D
