I've been searching through forums and can't find an answer. The skin choices was in beta and male twi'leks still have pink and red currently. There was a regular flesh tone for Zabrak on Empire side in beta too. I see no reason to take these out. You could also choose the hairstyle with the little side ponytail for male Chiss bounty hunters in beta. I know because I took those choices for my toons at the time. Not sure why they decided that less choice would be better. Especially considering how incredibly weak character customization is in TOR. Edit: As I recall Twi'lek were put in as an after thought. Bioware had no plans to make them playable because they are a "freak species". LucasArts demanded they be added. Double Edit: Why in the hell is the Inquisitor the only Empire class that can be Twi'lek? It seems completely ridiculous to me that they can't at least be Bounty Hunters.
