Feels like a mini game.

You level too fast (I already hit lvl 50 a few times, have alts high 30's...)

Fully solo game till lvl 50

No reason to do flash points, by the time you return to fleet, get a group do the instance could of leveled another 2-3 times. or even finished a world.

No reason what so ever to buy gear

No reason what so ever to do any craft other than biocem

Their is no pvp, only huttball

Open world pvp involves /w a fellow player telling him not to kill the other team! LET THEM TAKE OBJECTIVE NEED DAILY.

PVP gear can takes less than a week to gain, LOL, ***?

Unbalanced, every thing just feels unbalanced...

Companions worst idea ever in a mmo, destroy world pvp, destory group play.. just MEH.

The game its self has less features than every other mmo i know....

Edit:

You basically removed everything from a mmo that makes a community..

Having gotten 50 more than once, I don't not remember anyone els name! do not have anyone on my friends list, other than people i met in other mmo's LOL....................

I've been playing since Dec 13th and I don't have a lvl 50 yet.. jesus go do something. I bet you haven't seen the sun in awhile have you?
This...

I've been playing since Dec 16th, average of 2-3 hours daily and I've managed to get a 34 Jedi Sentinal and a 12 Smuggler. How anyone can claim to have played out all of the content in this game is beyond me.

2 factions, with 4 classes each and each of those has 2 advanced classes with a mirriad of options for skills, plus the crafting and space elements.

You have not played the entire game, you've played a bit and maybe you don't get it, so as I said before...

This may not be the game for you...

The game its self has less features than every other mmo i know....

1. A feature for many people.

2. You get top-shelf gear, xp, and credits from flashpoints - that's not good enough for you?

3. I don't see the problem here.

4. Every crafting profession offers its individual benefits - like unique gear for the crafter.

5. You must have some blinders on because there is open world PVP, Ilum, 3 warzones, etc.

6. Incorrect.

7. Which PVP gear would that be?

8. On the contrary, this game is quite balanced. Yes it can use work in this area but it is definitely one of its strong suites.

9. Companions are a great adition to this game.

10. This game has more features then many MMOs have had their entire life.

...

Do you have any other hyperbolic statements you would like corrected?

Don't get me wrong, i like the game.. just pointing out its major flaws.

Most people dont have a single lvl 50 char yet. I play EVERY day for about 3 hours, more on the weekends.

I got one 50 and a 30, some in their teens.

I get on, we do some dailies, talk in Teamspeak, run one or two flashpoints. We sometimes pvp to check if it got any better yet but quickly lose hope ;.)

Yes, Ilum open world pvp is a joke but the patch is around the corner.

All in all i am enjoying the ride. Of course i actually chat to people, once on my friendslist i maintain contact, help out when they need a DD/Healer, maybe craft a purple for someone just covering costs. You know, socialising ...

I totally agree the game has flaws, that is so obvious, you would need two eye patches not to acknowledge.

A lot of problems people have with the game seem to stem from how they play it, rather then the bugs it has though.

There is a huge difference between a bug and a feature that is working as intended but which you simply dislike...

You level too fast (I already hit lvl 50 a few times, have alts high 30's...)

Fully solo game till lvl 50

Your choice. You decided to be a loner and solo in an MMO that gives you hundreds of party quests.

No reason to do flash points, by the time you return to fleet, get a group do the instance could of leveled another 2-3 times. or even finished a world.

Your choice. Besides, I doubt you can finish a whole world in under an hour. Space-barring through everything really doesn't count.

No reason what so ever to buy gear

Buying gear using commendations is still buying gear. That's not really a flaw, I'm glad you can get geared with questing and crafting. What's the problem?

No reason what so ever to do any craft other than biocem

Your choice. (Again). Treasure hunting gives you lockboxes, so does slicing. Artifice for color crystals, etc. etc. You also give no reason why there's no reason.

Their is no pvp, only huttball

You're obviously trolling.

Open world pvp involves /w a fellow player telling him not to kill the other team! LET THEM TAKE OBJECTIVE NEED DAILY.

Then kill them and don't play the whole "be nice and hop objectives" game. Go and kill the opposing faction. If you're going to listen to general chat, that's your problem. They can't report you for PvPing.

PVP gear can takes less than a week to gain, LOL, ***?

Yes, if you play 12 hours a day.

Unbalanced, every thing just feels unbalanced...

Too vague a statement to be considered a "flaw".

Companions worst idea ever in a mmo, destroy world pvp, destory group play.. just MEH.

Everybody gets companions, I have no idea where you get the whole "destroy world pvp" thing. Also, you obviously never grouped up because you said you soloed everything. This also means you didn't do ANY of the heroic areas WHILE YOU WERE THE PROPER LEVEL. It's your choice if you solo. The game doesn't force you to solo, only you do.

The game its self has less features than every other mmo i know....

Not really. What you call "features" from... let me guess, WoW, also made it a big waiting room for LFG procs. This isn't happening in this game no matter how much you'll be crying about it.

Edit:

You basically removed everything from a mmo that makes a community..

Nope. You decided to be a sociopath.

Having gotten 50 more than once, I don't not remember anyone els name! do not have anyone on my friends list, other than people i met in other mmo's LOL....................

You just confirmed the previous statement.

I dont agree with anything you say. Im fully enjoying this game as an MMO, even more than I did with WoW 5 years back.

The goal for me in this game is not just to reach 50.

Btw... Did you:

Max out Valor? Social points? Affection with all companions? Max out gear for all companions and spaceship? Get all Datacrons? Legacy points? Beat all flashpoints and operations? Uncover all maps? Beat all world bosses? Play thruogh all three acts for all classes?

Mmmmkay...thought so.

Maybe you missed the objective of the game ? everyone think the objective is to get 50, Fast! it is already wierd you have more than one lvl 50... you should take your time mate... you say crafting is useless... (beside biochem) but, it doesn't sounds like you tried all crafting.. it's sounds more like you just looked for which craft is the most usefull for yourself..

anyhow I must agree with two points...

- you do not have a lot of choices in where and when to level up, you can't realy chose to up one character leveling in tatouine and than with an alt at the same level range to level somewhere else... I've got a sorcerer & a maraudeur that i level at the same time, and it's prety annoying to redo the same exacte quests beside the classe quest... It is not at all a problem but it might make the game look smaller, comparing to others MMOs (I do not talk about Wow, couldnt stand this mmo :) )

- because alot of guilde and friends joined this game all alogather, it is true that its a bit wierd as community... alot of ppl are on teamspeak or skype between them (I'm often one of those) I can spend more than 10 WZs with no one speaking on the WZ chat... no much laughs, sometimes ppl respond to a strategy but than again its pretty rare...

Again it's not much but it can give you the feeling it's a solo game... or a mini game as the OP said...

I personaly do not think its a mini game, just pointed out 2 things that might give you that feeling...

I've been playing since Dec 13th and I don't have a lvl 50 yet.. jesus go do something. I bet you haven't seen the sun in awhile have you?

This. A thousand times this.

I've been playing since launch (no early access) and I've gotten to a whopping lvl 37 on my highest character. Between work and my social life, I can maybe play for 2-3 hours a day. Even if I doubled this play time, I doubt I would be level 50 as I actually take my time and enjoy the content that is offered to me instead of skipping FPs and mashing my spacebar to skip dialog.

This is so not the game for you if;

No reason to do flash points, by the time you return to fleet, get a group do the instance could of leveled another 2-3 times. or even finished a world.

Pretty much says it all, doesn't it? If you can't even see how Flashpoints aren't simply made to grind exp, but instead made to enjoy and get some nice exclusive FP loot, this isn't the game for you. I know I keep repeating this, but it's just so true.

No reason what so ever to do any craft other than biocem

You mean you don't want ship equipment, grenades, custom recipes, color crystals, etc? I agree that Biochem is very useful. But to say there's no reason to choose another crewskill is just not true.

Their is no pvp, only huttball

You mean besides the other 2 warzones and the new one they will be adding soon? Oh, and the fact that they're rebalancing the type of warzones by allowing you to manually choose which one to queue for?

Open world pvp involves /w a fellow player telling him not to kill the other team! LET THEM TAKE OBJECTIVE NEED DAILY.

Once again, this is being fixed/changed rather soon. You sure made an effort to know about your own complaints...

Unbalanced, every thing just feels unbalanced...

If you've ever been a part of an MMO launch, you would know that the SW:TOR launch is one that has had the best balance at lauch despite not being perfect (it never frikkin' is).

Companions worst idea ever in a mmo, destroy world pvp, destory group play.. just MEH.

If you think that, why did you even buy the ganme? /facepalm

The game its self has less features than every other mmo i know....

/epicfacepalmfollowedbyadoubleepicfacepalmanda/wallface

:p

You basically removed everything from a mmo that makes a community..

Having gotten 50 more than once, I don't not remember anyone els name! do not have anyone on my friends list, other than people i met in other mmo's LOL....................

Yes, the game is supposed to make or break a community, not the... hmmm... players themselves? It's your own fault you don't have friends on your friends list if you don't even do as much as run an FP.

I'm sorry but I just take offense to people blaming the game while it's their own damn fault they can't enjoy the game to the fullest. That and I thouroughly enjoy replying to these threads while I'm at work and being a general lazy b*astard. There even some points I agree on with you (such as the level of difficulty/time in getting top tier pvp gear etc). But from your complaints it's obvious that this just isn't the game for you.

Basicaly what I read here in the condensed version is this: I got to level 50 as fast as I possibly could so I could feel like a super bad *** and people would like me.. now people are starting to level and catch up and Im not so important anymore , so BW could you please do something about this to make me feel like a factor again?

I disagree with the OP, I love the game myself. But I disagree more strongly with these people.

I've been 50 for a week, I've spacebarred nothing, took my time, enjoyed leveling with my mates (first time I've ever enjoyed leveling in an MMO), been out drinking, been to visit friends, been to work, done stuff around the house, watched movies, done some reading and painting, played other games.

I've still been 50 for a week. People who are 50 now were not rushing, people who were 50 at the end of early access were the "50 first, be super pro" players. People who are there now arejust, well, there before you.

People are going to say stupid things like "oh my god get a life you play too much" not understanding the mind numbing fallacy that's spewing forth from their fingers, but you have to understand that they're indirectly right, and even then, only on a technicality. They're implying that you're a hard core gamer - i.e. to the rest of society, meaning someone who devotes a lot of time to a video game/video games.

The point of an MMO is to be played heavily, and with lots and lots of other players.. And quite honestly, this game lacks both of those qualities.

It's meant for the most casual of casual players, OP.

I'll get another 50, (one Empire, one Republic) see another story line - after that - I'll just watch videos of the other classes's stories. The stories are great but it's not worth it to space bar through all the sidequests you have to do - even though, in reality, there aren't THAT many - because you level up so fast.

Anyways, you're not crazy OP - the game's on easiest ease of the easy mode - and won't keep people for very long one bit.

Gonna have to step in and agree with you here. All these Super Casual-TtM2991 people who are really just mad other people got there before them are committing as equally stupid an assumption as someone who thinks all white people are Nazis.

Nearly all the people who hit 50 in the first 2 days are the people who know their entire class story line because they played it all already in BETA testing.

Bet you never thought of that did'j'ya Mr. Casual? (not you aimbot)

Mmos are pretty casual in general.
