Angedechu Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 ...as pandas in heroic fantasy. I found both ideas very stupid, mind you.
TheHeadCapper Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Learn the lore and learn what a Rakghoul is, it's not a zombie.....
Kadjet Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Learn the lore and learn what a Rakghoul is, it's not a zombie..... QFT learn the lore before you spout off nonsense
Saice Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Rakghouls have been around for a vary long time. Years of work in the EU many books have had them in them. One of the great sith lords made them. This is not just playing the zombie card this is actully something many Starwars fans are aware of as being just one of the many things in starwars.
Rezelius Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 ...as pandas in heroic fantasy. I found both ideas very stupid, mind you. Well then thankfully you're in luck! Rakghouls are not Zombies! As the others have pointed out, you may want to read up on the lore surrounding them to better understand.
Angedechu Posted January 13, 2012 Author Posted January 13, 2012 Rakghouls are maybe not ''nammed'' zombies, but they look awfully like them.
Jaick Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 (edited) Rakghouls are maybe not ''nammed'' zombies, but they look awfully like them. Go play KOTOR 1 Taris undercity then come back. Edited January 13, 2012 by Jaick
Angedechu Posted January 13, 2012 Author Posted January 13, 2012 Yes, I remember perfectly Taris, where people get transformed into mindless beasts after being bitten by other mindless beasts....
Seisaan Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Rakghouls are maybe not ''nammed'' zombies, but they look awfully like them. I think you need to google image search rakghoul and then zombie. They look nothing alike. Also, Rakghouls have been part of Star Wars and are already in the game so you're just trying to troll the new trailer that got released and failing.
Anorsul Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 rakghouls are not zombies, its a mutation that transforms humans into a monster, but they don't die, theres even a cure, go play kotor 1 and then tell me they don't fit
Anya_Halberd Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 At least Rakghoul's do not make me want to punch a kitten in the mouth.
Hellmuthe Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 so if you realize it is part of the lore why complain? You say zombies in space is bad, what about all the other races, like wookies and those little teddy bear things. Id say a diseased person is much more realistic than a wookie.
lunabaguna Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Rakghoul they have an extensive role in all of the SW universe, they did not invent them for this game like wow did with pandas.
TheGreatEski Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Regular zombie movies take place on Earth, which is in space.
lunabaguna Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 At least Rakghoul's do not make me want to punch a kitten in the mouth. ^this
JDTC Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 rakhgoul zombies is not nearly as offensive as Sergeants in the Imperial Navy and Ensigns in the Imperial Army
MaverickXIV Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Even if they were zombies, I still disagree with you that space zombies are as bad as samurai brewmaster panda bear monks. I even disagree that space zombies are bad at all. Zombies aren't as tied to a certain setting like panda bears (that setting being China and nowhere else). Mass Effect has husks, and husks are pretty much zombies. Husks are also a lot cooler than you are.
