You probably can. Question is if you can play games on Macbook air, the specs is that of a washing machine.

 

A Macbook Air can run TOR on High settings with shadows off. TOR isn't really a demanding game.

I doubt you would get anywhere close to smooth FPS since nobody on youtube has ever managed to do that with a macbook air with any decent game released 2011.

Just look at this video or even better TRY it yourself.

It can't even run SC2 on low settings smooth!

I have seen TOR run smoothly on an Air. Not sure what settings it was using but it looked good. I know my Air ran WoW at max settings fine.

Why would you want to play any game in a beta version of an OS? IMO, just having the confirmation of support would be enough reason to buy Win7.

Whos stupid enough to install windows 8 for gaming purposes >.> (Atleast install it on a vmware)

 

I don't see why not, Win8 beta is as stable as Win7 ever was, and even better optimized in some situations
