I can't use tradeskill mission on my character and here is BW reply

Whenever i use trade skill mission scroll i never get the mission. I have lost 7 scroll so far and here is the response i received from bioware:

 

Greetings

I have received your transmission regarding your crew skill mission scrolls. I'm sorry to hear these aren't showing in your log, however without the exact names of the items used we are unable to offer you any further assistance.

They missed the point that i can't use the missions at all, that part of the game I CANNOT play. When i use a scroll any trade skill scroll it does not show on my mission log

Did you supply this?

 

Does it matter? Why would they end the contact with that instead of asking for more information, or maybe doing a little investigation?

I might be wrong on this, but reading your post suggests that you are under the impression that they are quests that will show up in your quest log?

 

However if I'm incorrect and you realise they are crew skill missions, then apologies and you can ignore the rest of the post.

 

However if it is the case, the reason they don't show up is that they aren't quests - they are crew skill missions, which will show up on the crew skills mission tab for the associated skill.

 

Where they show up depends upon what level the crew skill scroll is (for example, 300 will show up under 41-48)

Thats how I reply to any helpdesk tickets that don't have enough information provided. Of course the people that send me tickets should know better but thats what tier 1 support should do as well.

This. They told you that they don't have enough details to know what your problem is. Provide them with the details they asked for and see what their response is before complaining they are not helping you.

This is why I quit doing tech support back in the day. Morons would submit tickets all the time without enough information. Then when I ask them for the information I need they send back "OMG WHY DOES THAT MATTER CAN'T YOU JUST FIX IT??!!1!??!"

Thank you for explaining this where the missions are placed. When i uses the scroll is said you gain **** mission so when i looked in my mission log there was nothing. I appreciate you helping me instead of just trolling me.

My problem is solved the customer support was still horrid. They didn't try to solve my problem, they looked at my ticket said we cant replace your quests have a nice day. The problem I was having was i thought the missions were bugged and I was losing them, and with the amount of bug can you blame me for thinking it was a glitch? They didn't look into why I was losing the quests, CS just said you don't have the names of the quests we cant replace them. Luckily there was a nice player that recognized where I was making my mistake and helped me. I waited 10 days for my ticket to be answered before i came and posted here. I guess I should have posted here first to find that answer i needed.
