Open World PvP

You should gain valor at least from killing...anywhere. Open world is just that, a contested zone means...well you should fight the other faction if you can and if you win it should have some rewards!

Granted there should be no reward, or even a penalty from killing someone lets just say 5 or more levels below you. But when you are fighting someone in your level range you should get a reward for the kill.

Mythic understands pvp...and on a large scale RvR. This game has great potential, but EA seems to be sticking with input from people who have created failures in the past. I hope at some point EA will abandon their current advisors who seem to want to make this game like WAR/Rift/WoW instead of making it better.

Just a few suggestions, feel free to comment:

1. Give rewards for Open world PvP

2. On a larger scale give some sort of faction bonus for "owning" a contested area or winning fights there (perhaps a base to take and hold?)

3. An arena would be nice and give a chance for guilds/pre-mades to compete without worrying about adds like in open world.

I am sure there are more good ideas out there, but I hope EA/BW can hear that while there is great potential here, there is work to be done to make PvP/RvR better and more fun for all. PvE end games get repetitive and boring, a good PvP/RvR system will keep people playing and paying!!

Ironically players who pvp for reward are better suited pveing imo.. pvp should be about great fights and nothing more.

Just sayin.

Nevertheless, I agree because its the only way I will have people to fight with any frequency.

I agree with you somewhat...PvP gear based on valor ranks and perhaps adding in abilities for gaining a certain valor?? Something like the Realm Rank/Realm Abilities from DAoC? PvP is about the great fights and winning, not disagreeing there but people like a tangible reward as well.
