Why does it still feel like I'm on Korriban?

The mobs that i attack and kill, look quite similar to the mobs that i buy Stims from, or sell grey items too?

The buildings,Ships,Laboratories, Interior Design and many other little miscellaneous artifacts, i seem to be coming across on every-single planet, is it just me? or does it seem like a there is a awful lot of "recycling" going on with the "models". Yes i do know developers re-use models from time to time, and i under-stand the purpose behind it, but there is a difference between using it once or twice, to using them.....considerably.

Post your thoughts ~ Please note; I'm just raising a topic, and my vague view on the topic.

Yeah... check out the Space Port at DK. Then check out the space port in Balmorra. Then the space port on Tatooine. Then the one on Alderaan. And so on.

That's right.. they're exactly the same space port with different carpeting and curtains.

You know, the caves in that other game are the same. Quite a few in fact have the same exact layout. Same as the castles the houses and other buildings...

If you think about it from a Lore perspective, it makes complete and total sense.

A house is a house and it's still a house when it's build in Texas or Paris and it's still a house equal if it's painted yellow, white or green.

Just check out some villages in the US. They look like old Bavarin villages in germany ;). The one in germany are sometimes 1000+ years old, the one in the US are maybe 200 years old. But they look like identical copys.

And when it comes to airports or even more space ports .... it's just logical to creat standarts so every ship can dock at every space port.

Same for planet surfaces. A dessert on the moon as nearly the same collor as a dessert on earth or mars. Sometimes a little bit more white or red but the overall look is very identical.

Given the setting, it's not difficult to imagine that pre-fabricated structures would be the primary means of establishing settlements on frontier worlds. If you want a more tangible answer, then with how expensive games are becoming these days to produce, re-use of art assets is one way to cut down on costs, and I find it hard to disagree with developers who do this.
