fragnot
Im nearly full champion as we speak, and sitting here wondering if i should start re-modding the gear. With my PvE gear on, im near 40% crit, but with the full champ gear, im only around 29% crit, and 65% surge rating. Theres just too much power and other stats on some of the gear, imo. Atleast for a Deception Assassin.. What do you think ?
Newbrax
Nailed it on the head. As Deception we rely heavily on high end burst damage (which we seem to be lacking in the first place). If I'm not critting, I'm not winning. Plain and Simple. Surge is another must have stat. I've already started swapping out mods in my PvP gear. bokidarkness
Yeah. Crit is the way to go mate. We need to burst out of stealth with big damage.
punman
It's unfortunate that the Battle or Wily Enhancements (I think those are the two with the most surge & crit) can only be crafted up to 22, but the level in that gear I think is 24. kainsec
Well if your like me and you never get new pieces but get lots of the same items you can fix the problem. The champion helm has crit and surge mods in it so feel free to rip them out at 20k a pop and put them over the less desirable mods on the other pieces. Problem is your still dependent on RNG to get you what you want
DarthCnox
I think they said that all gear will be completely moddable, such that you will be able to carry set bonuses and the like down to custom gear. Check out the dev tracker and you'll see the post. I think that's the right way to go, but I imagine it will take a while to implement because they are going to have to add info to mods to store info about the set, as well as making certain mods only fit into certain type of gear slots (boots vs. chest for example). But once that is in place, I think we can kiss this retarded gear models goodbye.
fragnot
So can anyone tell me the names of the new mods theyre using?
kidbs
I know it's silly, but I hate overwriting mods that are a higher level. I guess I'll have to get over that.

You can always take them out first. For...like 25k. Each. T.T Edited January 10, 2012 by theonepanda

T.T Yeah, I'm not looking forward to the cost of re-modding non-ugly robes with the set piece mods when they add them back onto the gear in a future patch.
