Sigh..really pathetic CS

so, since lastest patch I haven't been able to mod/unmod my equipment. Put in several tickets and nada. Spent over 3 hours on 2 separate occasions trying to call. Never got through. This is extremely pathetic in terms of customer support and a pretty big drastic bug. About to lose another sub

What were you hoping to accomplish by calling? Just curious.

 

Just report the bug, there's not much else that can be done.

 

The CSRs won't be able to fix a bug, just so you know... It takes time to get things worked out.

 

because one of the closed tickets told me to call. It was even one of the options when calling to report bugs. And it wouldn't even matter. One should never have to spend 3 hours on the phone to get in contact with service. It is utterly pathetic.

 

In the meantime I have a function of the game I am completely unable to use..and I can't even get a ticket that is even updated. Just insta closed.

Ah, I hadn't heard of that until now.

 

Your best bet is still to report the bug using the in-game system. And after that, just try to be patient, or find a workaround (use non-moddable gear until the bug is fixed, if possible).

I had a couple of issues early on realted to my account. They didn't even read my issues. They just sent me canned non responsive replies and closed the ticket. CS is not intended to provide service to the customer. They are another time sink, like running to your ship.

then you must have never called any large company for customer support before... 3 hours is actually on the lower end of average time spent waiting for most large companions CS... I called Microsoft CS once and spent 14 hours on hold.. I went to sleep on hold and woke up still on hold.. the only time you get short waiting times when calling a CS is when they outsource it so much the people you talk to are less useful than if you had talked to a machine...

 

as far as TOR goes... every ticket I submitted was answered withing a day or 2 and my one that was an item restoration was resolved 2 hours after I submitted

I have, and I actually work for a benefits company. Anything longer then 5 minutes is deemed very bad. I call into tech services for equipment we run, and I have done so for FFXI and rift. Cable/phone/internet..never 3 hours. And thats 3 hours before I hung up..not before anyone actually answering.

 

14 hours..really doubt that..if you in deed fell asleep..if you didn't answer them..they would of just d/c you or through you back in hold.

soo you decided to complain in genral fourms about this instead of the custer support one hopping i could hop into the game and fix your prob.....

 

oh I did..but if they dont care hey..ill let others know too. I for one would like to know how bad the CS is for the game im playing. If you dont care about how they handle things..then more the fool you.

Ive waited for CS for my cell phone company and my cable company for 4 to 5 hours before. I just throw it on speaker phone and go about my day.

No reason to justify it by saying "ive done it before."

 

Seriously, those of you defending Bioware CS have not delt with them. Its REALLY bad.

 

Keep in mind, I like this game. I dont want to criticize it in any way. But Bioware's CS is bad. And bad is bad even if I dont want it to be.

I said I worked for a benefits company. Didn't say I was a CS rep. But you know..they do send out reports detailing what is expected of us as a company. They do these things you know. And I detailed my personal experience. But yes, please go on trying to make yourself look good :cool:

 

There is nothing wrong with stating how bad their CS is. That is a huge service that no company wants to get wrong. If complaining is how we get it fixed, then yes, we should complain. If you don't care..whatever..means this topic is nothing of import to you..so you can go troll a different complaint thread.
