Ok so I love the look/outfit/saber/story of my current sith assassin. I can't wait to see whats going to happen with Vash and blah blah, (don't tell me)

However I love to play my Marauder, and it is definitely more the type of class I would like to play, as opposed to lightning this, lightning that, lightning interrupt, lightning dot, lightning, LIGHTNING LIGHTNING!! that is the boring gameplay of my assassin.

The only thing is I hate how my marauder looks (always like some metal plated dude/soldier who stole sabers from a jedi/sith) and the storyline is boring for me so far, only level 25, I think Varas is too dramatic and gay and don't really care.

So basically Assassin has the look/storyline I want but boring combat

Marauder has boring outfits/storyline, but DEFINITELY the style of character I would normally stick with.

What should I do?

Some of you will say level both, but I don't have much time outside work lately and would rather focus on one.

I have both of them at around level 25, and keep going back and forth not able to make up my mind.

1. Mediocre gameplay with excellent story

2. Mediocre story with excellent gameplay

This is the way I summed it up on your opinion on both classes. It all comes down to what you prioritize more. Gameplay or story.

I'd look further beyond story in my opinion. The story goes that far. After that it's mainly gameplay in PvP, Flashpoints and operations. Wherever your desires you may be.

Heres the thing.

Looks?

My only real issue with marauder is the lack of choice, the lightside vendor has nothing at all, I'm currently wearing orange agent gear with mods to suit me, because the other stuff wasnt nice.

story.

This I dont get, the warrior story is epic, I've played it entirely lightside, and the way it plays out I've found really enjoyable, every time I have to interact with Jedi is comedy gold, I even sent one into frothing madness because I was nicer than he was, seeing empire officers all confused because I spared people, sent them off to lives off luxury, didnt want to fight or whatever, the responses you get are great.

Act 1 of the story is great , slow start, but picks up on nar shaddar , act two carries on with the same, its my least favourite simply because of Taris, which is the only planet I couldnt wait to get off, it just doesnt 'flow' like the others, I found it an annoying place to be.

Act 3 starts with a bang, and it never lets up, epic until the end.
