Damage, PvP, and Health Pools

I have been PvPing and reading the forums sometimes and noticing nerf threads and the such.

 

However, it seems no one has really addressed the issue of PvP in this (high lvl PvP that is) which is how damage has scaled far better then HP. Health Pools of the current player base in HIGH END gear seems to plateau around 15-20k yet burst damage is rising to the point that players can two shot mediocre geared 50s and five shot PvP geared player.

 

Simply put there are many classes that can crit between 4-8k which means that on average players can do between 25 to 50% of a players hp totals in a single hit. This is massive imbalance that rivals much to my surprise WoW's Wrath of the Lich King which saw players critting between 4-10k on players with Hp totals between 30-50k and that was considered WAY TO HIGH.

 

In organized play due to damage values a good tank should last around 2-3 hits from two hard hitting PvP specced players.

 

I think the assements of nerf x or nerf B will have ZERO affected on the status of PvP because in general for PvP the damage totals are completely and totally terrible.

I've also noticed this. As a tank in PvP, I'm kind of a beast at taking damage, but extremely well geared players are killing me incredibly fast - and as time goes on, it's getting to be faster and faster. Expertise & Endurance scale way worse than damage right now.

 

I can't even imagine what it's like in PvP as a non-tank.

It's about the same since you barely mitigate anything! =P
