Baitar
I can't keep aggro with my Jugg. I had to use Taunt every 15 sec and if the mobs are scattered it is really impossible. What is the best threat generation ability for Juggs at that level range?
Ascendant
From the perspective of a Jugg tank with Hard and Nightmare mode kills under my belt: Juggernaut threat generation is problematic in a trash pull situation that involves many ranged mobs, or if you're with a bunch of DPS who are trying to AOE entire packs. CC is a necessity, or focused DPS to quickly eliminate the mobs that you cannot hold aggro on. Trying to hold aggro on six spread out ranged mobs will just result in you holding aggro on none of them. Keep the two toughest mobs glued to you, and let the DPS burn down the rabble. For boss fights the Jugg does fine. Our harder hitting DPSers can spike and pull aggro off of me, but I've never found myself in a position where I've been unable to taunt the mob back before any real damage is done. Exact same experience here. Holding mobs just isn't the same in this game as it is in others. Go over the kill orders/priorities with your groups. normal, strong, elite, champion. The DPS are going to get mobs on them in big groups. As long as it is the normal guys then everything will be fine. Keep the hard hitting mobs on you. Another thing people haven't figured out overall, is crowd control is a necessity. Each group, most of the time, there should be at least one mob CC'd. Enerzeal
I just ran Battle for Ilum, at first the DPS was blasting anything that tab landed on. Eventually however I managed to explain to them that CC, kill weak then strong then elite then champs. We're also back to the days of giving it a few seconds to let me build up aggro on dual boss fights that are both immune, one thing you need to understand as well, any half decent DPS will take aggro off you, taunt is there to pull the mob back when you lose it, which you certainly will at some point in a drawn out fight.
