RisinDragon
(Edit to add: This probably belongs in the General Discussion, could a Moderator move it over please?) Let me first start off by saying this: I am playing a Republic Jedi Guardian. I got majority of my information from Torhead: http://www.torhead.com/codices/catg/1, so I am basing my information on this website. I am making assumptions on which Codex goes with What Datacron. So I can be incorrect. I used 2 other websites that helped me gather some information. But I pulled the Datacron Achievement from Torhead. I have collected 63/67 Datacrons. 2 I know I cannot get too, 1 I know is bugged, and one I know is a Green Matrix that I am currently trying to complete. (I have found 1 of the 4 Rakata Energy Cubes). In the process, I have collected every other Datacron/Matrix. With a few problems with the ones below. I do not have any of the Codex listed below (Galactic History 78 I do have). Galactic History 47 - Castle Panteer Datacron - Planet Alderaan - Opening of the door is not wide enough for someone who has a Frame3 which I have on my Jedi Guardian. So the question is can frame2 or frame1 fit? This needs to be enlarged for Frame4 to fit as well. Galactic History 71 - I assume to be for the Green Matrix, which I am still in the process of gathering the Energy Cubes needed for it. Galactic History 78 - Which one does this Datacron belong too? I have this in my Codex list. Based on the Website posted above, it states it belongs to the Port Peveria Datacron on the planet Corellia. Again I think it's not correct. Why? Because I tried everything I can to fit in the small opening and could not get beyond the point of access. The datacron is below the catwalk in Port Pevaria. Has the same issue as Galactic History 47, the opening is too small for a Frame3 player. It needs to be opened up a bit. Galactic History 80 - This Datacron is currently Missing for me and I have no idea where to look for it. Can someone help me figure out what this missing Datacron is please. =) I personally believe this codex belongs to the Port Peveria Datacron. (Maybe the Green Matrix) Again my assumption. Based on the site, someone posted #80 was for the Presence Datacron on Planet Corellia - You go up a piston and blow yourself to the ledge to get this Datacron. I went to retest it, I got the message of "you are not longer able to access this Datacron". So the information posted on the site is not correct. Galactic History 83 - Aim Datacron - Planet Ilum - you click on it, but do not get the stat or the codex update. I can still click on it (over and over) and see the story for it. It tells me +4 Aim, but it does not add the Stat or Codex to my character. I've even had a guildie come test it for me, to see if it's my character or a bug. He couldn't get Stat or Codex. So this is a bug that needs to be fixed. If anyone has any information on the 2 non accessible Datacrons on Alderaan and Corellia, please share your information on what Codex that Datacron belongs too. Same goes for the Green Matrix as well, thanks. Edited January 8, 2012 by RisinDragon
demotivator
Galactic History 47 - Castle Panteer Datacron - Planet Alderaan - Opening of the door is not wide enough for someone who has a Frame3 which I have on my Jedi Guardian. So the question is can frame2 or frame1 fit? This needs to be enlarged for Frame4 to fit as well. Yeah I love how they fixed this: A Datacron on Coruscant is no longer blocked by unintentional collision. when I can't even see what the issue was, never got any trouble to get any datacron on Coruscant, and that's on 2 characters, yet they can't make an opening wider... Bhigtimm
Galactic history 78 is the aim datacron on Corellia is the one you get with the exploding tank. 80 is presence on correllia and it is in Port Praevis. There are good videos of the path on youtube, but I don't know if you can fit with your frame size.

Gruntcruncher
The Port one on Correllia cannot be done by a type 3+ body frame using the follow the wall method, although there is one utube vid showing a class 3 getting through by finding a wall collision bug and managed to merge into the wall. The suspected real path to that datacron is from the edge of the catwalk, in line where the datacron sits. There is a jedi guardian stood there. For a warrior simplest thing is to force push him straight off and watch him fall. I do it purely for the giggles. At the point he stands, if you look over and down, you can see 3 beams/girders poking out from the end under you. However if you do try to drop down onto them you fall through them. Just like the invisible bridge over lava datacron on belsavis. That = instand death, rez at nearest med centre, half a map length away from where you started. As you said, currently the castle panter one is another one where you get to rage as type 1 and 2 toons mockingly wave at your fat *** as they skip past you to the datacron. Bhigtimm
Can you have someone cross through, duel you and then harpoon you through the door?
RisinDragon
Thanks for the information. I'll test out the die/rez trick and see if it worked for me. As for the Lava one on Belvaris, I had a fellow Guardian come with me, and we Force Push/Leap Attack followed by Swoop Jumping to the Datacron. Works like a dream to get to the Lava one. demotivator
Die and have someone res you on the other side. Easy. I did try that. I tried to rez my guildmate and got the "cannot see target" message constantly although he was just laying there in front of me. I tried outside, inside, on him, it didn't matter: "cannot see target". And to be honest there is no doubt it was not intended this way. How hard is it to make the opening larger? Elyssandra
Dear fat Jedi Guardians, I sympathize with you.. I do lol . My husband plays a Jedi Knight that had the same problem as he was just too fat to fit in through the gap in the wall. He was ranting outside the gap in the wall... We solved this by I went through on my slim trim JCWe started a dualHe jumped at me using some skill - maybe force leap? And voila he is inside... even though he was too fat to fit through the gap - the force helped him Stuff like this helped us get other datacrons too - He force pushed me to the top of the sandcrawler in the desert for the matrix shard as well as to the small platform on the side for the other datacron as well. Far more fun than waiting for the balloon and then jumping badly and eating sand like I did the time I tried the balloon...
Cruxe
The duel + Force jump trick will work for getting through the door in Alderaan. On Corellia you can have a sage Rescue you as you fall from the edge of the dock. That's how I got my Jedi Guardian buddy those 2 datacrons. Also, I don't think you can get all the codex entries for datacrons since some are Empire only. Could be wrong about that, never looked myself. Those that are faction restricted are nearly (completely?) impossible to get for the other faction. Imperial Balmorra is "different" from Republic Balmorra for instance, same with Taris, hence you really get datacrons specific to your faction with no way to get its counterpart. If no mistake I am pretty sure that Anchorhead can't be accessed on foot or speeder, you have to use a taxi to get in and out, I am not sure that imps would be able to get there in order to obtain this datacron. It's the same deal with Mos Ila I guess. Edited January 10, 2012 by demotivator
Xanobar
I just collected the 4 enegry cubes for the shard on Belsavis but I heard this is bugged? Anyone confirm this before I use my cubes. The other I am missing is the Aim +4 on Ilum. Its bugged that I can click on it and it says I get the +4 but then doesn't show up on my Codex page. I can just keep clicking on it . Quesadilla
The codex tells you how many datacrons you have collected out of how many total that are available for your faction. In the datacron tab at the top there's a progress bar and at the end of it there's a number over a second number. For an empire character it is */67. On a slightly unrelated note codex's should be updated across server characters (except maybe datacron) Cause the OCD in me is screaming. Atenhara
Will the datacrons ever be made available through a vendor? I spent almost 4 hours trying the jumps on 2 different ones and can say that I will never be able to do them. The jump mechanism in tor is horrible. In other games, you press space then forward and you jump. Here, you have to press both at the exact same time and then you get one of two different jumps. Short jump if theres a micro second pause between presses and a long jump if a milli second. I would rather just pay 50k for each one and be done rather then doing a jump I know I will never be able to do.

On Hyperspace Cannon, I was with several Sith and two Troopers on the Balloon. We all jumped and missed, so we began to work together to get to the top via force-pushing and knockbacks. It was glorious.
MrDefault
I play Empire and I`ve collected ALL datacrons. The presence one on Corellia I got it with help from a guildmate (assassin) who spammed pull while dueling and the one in Castle Panteer I`ve charged thru the door (warrior here) on my up mentioned guildmate. Now, the codex states I got 66/67 datacrons. Even the assembly chamber is registered into codex. On most of datacrons hunting sites they say there are a total number of 66 datacrons which makes me wonder...which datacron have I missed or where is it? I`ve checked the Galactic Entry numbers from codex and I`ve compared them with the ones on sites. Saw that GE #23 is missing and began researching for it. It`s an +2 Aim (Republic) / +3 Endu (Empire) datacron on Taris that I have allready collected, but the entry didn`t registered in my codex as #23. So, given the fact that I have all 66 datacrons collected, why am I still having 66/67 codex entries? P.S. I got even the Empire Fleet (+10 all stats) datacron.
