Commando Class is Broken

Commando class is not functioning the way it is supposed to be.

 

The main reason is the skill, Full Auto. This ability is broken. It is very frustrating because this is our classes main damage dealing skill. If you are a gunnery spec Commando, which most dps commandos are, most of the high tier talents spec to make this skill perform better. Our whole spec revolves around this one skill to acheive max dps.

 

However half the time i cast Full Auto nothing happens. It just bugs out and does no damage, yet I still get the channeling action. Another fail is if i happen to take damage whilst casting Full Auto I lose about 1/3 of the dps, yet it still takes the full length to channel. I won't even mention how delayed the actual cast is.

 

Can this please be fixed as its an important part of our class and is not working at the moment.

I became extra frustrated when i learnt Bounty Hunter Missile skill is supposed to be the mirror Full Auto. Yes that is the one you see Bounty Hunters spamming and owning people in warzones with. Their cast time is small and does full damage straight away and does not bug and does not gimp their dps if they take damage.

 

Can this please be fixed as its an important part of our class and is not working at the moment.

The missile skill has no correlation with full auto. BH's have a correlating skill known as overload (?)

Not sure if its the same as the jedi guardian 'master stroke' skill. That skill takes 3 seconds to complete and has three 'actions' in it. It does most of the damage in the last stroke, but can be interupted by the opponent.

 

Is the same thing happening with your ability?

Ah k thats what i was told i guess missile spam is charged bolt or grav beam mirror? Still it doesn't really matter the skill is bugged as hell.

Ability delay thread hears your call. The issue has been made aware to BioWare. It's very complicated and affects a wide-array of random abilities on random classes.

 

what really amazes me is just how complicated the issue seems to be, so complicated it could not be fixed during several months of beta testing bringing this exact issue to the devs attention repeatedly (like so many other things).

 

So the issue must be really complicated, that's the only explanation this has not been fixed yet. Oh wait...there is but one other explanation... :p

There is also a lot of other trooper abilities that have these delays too unfortunately.

 

For example mortar volley...its basically only useful in PvE or against enemies who aren't paying attention to you cause of the delay, they can pretty much move out of the way of the target area of your mortar/explosives.
