Not an employee of the company, boringly so, Im a surveyor.

Whole heartedly agree with the OP. Been playing daily since I got the game on 26th, only level 21 doing all the quests and crafting (havent touched pvp or warzones yet).

I wont even be to level 50 on my first character by the time my 'free' month finishes and I cant wait to start my second character (being good all the time with my goody-two-shoes jedi knight makes me crave for killing things! bring on the bounty hunter!)

I too am subbed, for 90 days and enjoying myself immensely.

Just hit 50 on my consular and still have tons of story to do.

Started a trooper yesterday and the story is so good, can easily see myself spending week after week playing through all of these classes and stories.

I've been a very vocal critic of Bioware about a few issues with this game and will continue to be so until they fix them.

Yeah that's right crappy interface, I'm looking at you but all in all, this has been a spectacular launch, both numerically and from the perspective of quality. Unprecedented really in the history of video gaming.

So, not a fanboy, not a troll and subbing for 90 days with pleasure as there is plenty of bang for my gaming bucks to be had here and I plan to get my moneys worth.

My guild is growing, vent is full of people laughing and having a good time. Old friends who left us months ago are checking back in and joining us to experience this new game.

In fact I think I owe Bioware a thank you, in addition to my dollars.

Damn, looks like EA sent out the heavy artillery: employees posting as players.

nonsense, youre either naive enough to believe that or unwilling to believe that there are more of us loving it than are whining like spoiled children.

Ahem... If you have tons to do, why did you start a trooper :p

anyway. I am glad there are people that have good time in the game. Just be civilized to the ones that are not that happy.

play the game since december 20th

taking my time, i only have a vanguard 25 and a shadow 18. I still enjoy the game very much, so they deserve my 15€/month.

That will not stop me from killing heroic madness of deatwing in a few month, slaying dragon in skyrim, chasing the jocker in the city, or destroying protoss with my MMM.

Playing more than one game, strange concept

Because I intend to finish all 8 classes and fully enjoy this product.

I have the means and the time and nothing else to do for the next few months so why not?

Just wanted to bump this one.

We need more love for this game.

Besides some minor bugs/glitches and wishes for more specific content, this is a great game.

I can easily see people playing this for years (if they keep up adding new content etc..).

How do you know that ? I'd like to see the evidence and statistics you have on this matter.

It's just one of those little things called common sense. People like to complain and rant, especially on a forum like this where you can do it more or less anonymously. I'm not saying that there is nothing to complain about, just that those that have something to complain about (warranted or not) will likely do so, while, as the OP says, those of us that enjoy the game prefer to do just that instead of posting about it.

Sure there are a lot of people complaining here, but after reading for a while you realize that much of it is the same people posting over and over. And how big a part of the 1000000+ players does that really make? Not a heck of a lot.

I totally agree with the OP. Wonderful game! Now back to it :)

I love how people think that when someone is positive it must be a hoax, but will believe trolls freely.

Hey man, why would you think they would do that?

I love how people think that when someone is positive it must be a hoax, but will believe trolls freely.

I am totally enjoying this game. I got to Voss with my Inquisitor this weekend and think it's a great planet.

Yes, the game has some flaws, bugs, limitations, what have ye....but none of it gets in the way of me enjoying the game so far and I do send reports to them about bugs so they can be fixed at some point.

So, I'm not a fanboi who doesn't want to see faults, but I'm certainly not part of the ragequit group that really just has no patience and only cares about what they want and completely seem to forget that they don't represent the rest of the world.

Constructive criticism is the best way to improve a game and I totally understand people who want to start positive threads about the game because the general forum has been a cess pool of completely overexaggerated emotional outbursts. No self control, just rage rage rage....

So I am glad some people, in between playing, do post positive stuff on here as well. It should be said also and I do enjoy this game. So what? Am I not allowed to say something positive?

Uhm, could be because he wanted to try something different for a bit? I love my trooper story as well, but there are tons of classes with storyline that is there for the taking, so I may want to go to those for a bit and try them out. Keep things fresh and exciting. Really not something hard to understand or try to find the hidden meaning of...

TBH i feel a little for those folk who genuinely cannot enjoy this game for what it is.

SWTOR cannot be all things to all people, even though it's having a crack at it by casting a wide demographic net in a casual format.

Myself, i'm having a ball and fully expect to keep doing so...even taking into account apects of the game that are annoying, because i think of it as essentially a work in progress.

oh, my queue has popped...see you in game :)

Because everyone who loves this game is... well.. PLAYING the game.. I'll speak for all of us when I say that we are still subscribed, and are LOVING the game. Almost level 50 and cant wait for the epic world PvP with guild rivalries on Ilum, along with rated Warzones in the major future content patch!

Sub'd, Having a blast!

Thanks bioware!

Been here since early access and I'm still having fun . :)

I did a few months in game test. I pre-ordered within the first 5 minutes of availability. I subbed for 6 months.

Today, 1 month after my subscription started, I'm sort of regretting its length. The game is missing some pieces that are critical to my enjoyment of it. That's my fault for not realizing that during game test or the first month of retail.

I guess the good news is that now BW has committed to creating the pieces I'm missing. It's quite possible that by the time my 6 month sub is up, I'll happily pay for more.

Yeah, I've enjoyed the game immensely. Been playing it predominantly as a solo player or duoing with a friend.

The conversations add depth & an entertaining RP element to what could otherwise be generic questing. Despite all the flawed/clunky elements, there's a genuinely great game underneath it all.

I have unsubscribed tho. I was one of those who got headaches/etc from the flashing UI. Was going to have a day left on my sub to check out if they'd actually fixed it properly, but now that the maintenance has been pushed back a day I'd have to resubscribe for a full month to get the ~15 minutes of play-time it'd take to find out if the game was comfortably playable for me again. I even downloaded the 12+gig of ptr to try to check, but there just aren't enough abilities on a level 1's action bar to reproduce the initial issue :(

In short: stopped subscribing - love the game =\
