Why *I* Cancelled.

Ok, I had Huge hopes for this game, been waiting on it for years. I get the game and take it home, start trying to set up account. It takes me 4 hours dealing with Biowares abyssal support to finally set up the subscription that I can play.

I start with a Sith inquistor thinking I'll play as healer. I get to where I can actually play healer, and the heals are so lack luster that I hardly make a dent in damage being done in a pve environment. I stop playing him right there.

From characters feeling vastly under powered to the worst support I've ever had. This game just won't keep me past 30 days, I won't go back to WoW as I'm done with MMO's but this game had such High hopes, :(

I didn't find Inq to feel underpowered healing... you just have to do more than just hit 1 button to do it well. Operative also felt weak as a healer until I learned how to manage their energy and use my energy-based abilities more wisely.

I could see the complaints from a level 50 who has experienced struggling with the horrible UI to try to heal difficult content, but from a relative new player, I just don't see it.

Obviously you are not healing properly. I'm a sith inquisitor sorcerer and I have no problem keeping up with heals. Hell, I even take on champion mobs solo with my companion and have my companion tank while I heal him.

Also, why would you have problems setting up a subscription, 99.9% of people have no trouble with it.

This reminds me of the time my sister downloaded and installed the WoW free trial, rolled a Night Elf, got attacked by a mob in the starting area, had no idea what to do, died, and never logged in again. Good thing WoW wasn't "doomed to failure" based solely on her experience. Edited by Kraylessa

You are doing something very wrong.

If you are trying to tank while healing yourself then you are not doing it right.

If you expect to heal a pet against 2 epic mobs at level 15-25 then you are not playing right (though it is doable in certain spots).

If you expect to fully heal your pet in 1 cast then you are not playing right because no MMO healer can do that right off the bat.

Last, picking a healer class does not automatically make you a good at healing. If you dont go down the healer tree then you will be very mediocre. Think about it, if it was easy to heal with just 1 skill then every healer would go down the dps tree and they would be just as damaging as any full dps class plus they would get heals. So again, you are not playing right.

It sounds like you want to be an one man wrecking crew that can heal. I recommend Skyrim.

I have IA Operative healer specced at lvl 21, and i don't have any problmes keeping my group up and running and yet i can step in and give nice DPS when needed. I also have BH Mercenary DPS specced and yet when needed i can step in and give a hand at healing, ie. last night our pug group had really bad healer who died all the time and i had to step in and keep our tank alive..

That's really strange, because i have a jedi sage whom i DID NOT spec as a healer, yet i am routinely acting as the only healer in group situations and doing just fine.
