I am stuck at the Darth Jadus fight. problem is I think I am bugged. I am a lvl 30 sniper and almost all my skills say "cant seen the target". The cover skill wont pop they just cancel all the time. only thing I can do to start the fight, is run in stab him and then I can use my cover skills, maybe. by the time I can find a postion to hit him with a cover skill he has killed my companion and I die fast. cant kill him cant proceed in questline.

also ALL the green roll to cover spots say the same thing "cant see the target" this is so fustrating that after I get legacy I my give up agent. (wish they gave us a no roll to cover toggle)

thx

There is a no roll cover ability, it's called crouch. I haven't used a cover roll in 40 levels.

Also, I beat Jadus by using LoS on him. Running in and out from behind a terminal, kiting him when he tried to melee, using corrosive and frag nade to keep aggro while Vector pounded on him. Took me a couple of tries to get the feel right (and one vendor bought medpac) but I downed him without too much issue. Just took a bit of time is all.

Or call in a friend to help.

there is some kind of invisible wall around Jadus, you need to agro him then pull him away from where he was standing. You don't need to use cover skills to hit him. Just hit him with a melee attack, and then run away so he follows. I would recommend you send your companion to run in, agro him, then put him on passive so he runs back to you - this will cause jadus to chase after him and then you will be able to fight jadus.

you need to do this everytime you fight him.

also, be advised that you will need to use stimpacks and medpacs for this, and don't bother using 'Take Cover' skill on this fight because he doesn't use any ranged physical attacks, just use 'Crouch' skill which is a much faster way to get into Cover.

I did this fight at level 33, and it took me about 6 tries to get him down using Vector + Advanced Recon + all my cooldowns. good luck.

I aggroed him from range with the aoe skill - just use it on the ground where he stands, you hit him and he comes running after you, that way you dont need to eat a facefull of his melee attacks. Edited by Oxudes

walk behind him. now just run to him and he attacks anyways. now step a bit back, blind him, use portable cover, take your time to cast your buffs and start your rotation. kill him as usual. use a good healpack for you and your companion if needed. job done.

there is no need here to jump and run like a chicken on a battlefield.

I couldn't beat this guy using "legit" tactics - as MM spec I basically had to wear him down by interrupting his casts by breaking line-of-sight using the computer terminals on the right side of the room, kiting him through that area spamming overload shot or dropping into cover and doing a little more damage if I had my interrupt available. It was unsatisfying but eventually he went down. I wasn't comfortable using other methods to control him because of the damage he did if I messed anything up.

Also until they fix the cover bug interrupting skills when rolling to cover (which they might, in the next patch), you should enter cover using Shift+F to crouch in place.

thx for the info, what a wierd unconventional fight.

I hide behind the console in crouch, sent ventor in and had him return as soon as agrro was achieved. hit Jadus with a quick ambush and from there it was kiting around the console and came down to Interupts.

the shocking stab helped, coverpulse and anything that stops his lightning and dark side charges.

cant say I liked this fight as I felt it came down to luck more that anything, but I guess you shouldnt feel comfortable fighting a Darth.

I also struggled with this fight due to the number of different bugs. I died several times mainly because; I couldn't fire, my companion wouldn't stand up, the boss would reset, or any number of the frustrating things that happened. I will say this was the first time I agreed with the posts about the "cover bug".

Eventually figured out that i need to either pull him off the ledge or stand on top of him and just nuke him down. Also, use the interrupt ALOT.

Really not happy with this quest.

The first couple times I tried it, I ran around like an idiot looking for some sort of interactable because the dialogue says something to the effect of: "You don't stand a chance against him but you can use force fields to trap him on the bridge."

The next few times I tried fighting him straight up. . . then kiting him. I'm not even close. I'm not going to say that the fight is 'too hard', because I'm still under-level. It certainly is buggy and 'not fun,' though.

Guess I'll try again in another level or two.

I got massively frustrated with this mission (as my guildies will probably agree), so much so that I wandered off and did the rest of the Alderaan missions, gained a level and came back for another go and a different approach, cobbled together from advice given on the forum.

I had been using Kaliyo as a tank, which simply wasn't working as DJ seemed to ignore the tank and come after me. So I switched to Vector for his melee damage dealing

As Vector was supplying the majority of dps, I just used interrupts as much as possible, popped Shattershot when needed and used instant dps abilities. I stayed away from snipe and ambush due to not being able to interrupt while they were casting.

Very annoying fight.
