DanielKT
I was wondering if anyone had a note on why the server que suddenly has spiked three fold (or more) tonight? After launch it hasn't been much higher than 300 or so on a bad time for me. Now it's almost 1100 and climbing. Did something happen?I'm just wondering if someone out there has some info on the 'why'

DanielKT
I'd think that could be it except the 300ish has been consistant since launch. It's just in the last couple hours it has spiked to 1100+
Cite
I'd think that could be it except the 300ish has been consistant since launch. It's just in the last couple hours it has spiked to 1100+ Bioware decided the only way for them to fix the queuing/server load problem is to cause everyone to rage hard enough at large queues and to reroll on other servers by reducing the maximum number of players on the server at any time. Oh I am in your boat too as an aussie player and am wondering the same thing
DanielKT
Logged into my imperial server and sent them a note incase something being broken was the cause. I expect others did the same thing but doesn't hurt to have another person checking in.
tuxdj
I have the same question in my mind. Guess something screw up with the server?
DanielKT
Dunno but a 3x-4x jump in que times within 2 hours sounds like something drastic happened.
Jumpshotxpert
I was wondering the same thing, I've been in big bear for the past 5 days, and come back and got a d/c, now sitting at a 1,000 queue? Ugh. They were much shorter queues a day after launch then now. And, my d/c is B/Ws fault, I have verizon fios and never lose connection, directly connected with 50 Mb/s...at least give me a grace period ffs. lollie
Maybe all the aussie's game cds have finally arrived in the post.
DanielKT
Maybe all the aussie's game cds have finally arrived in the post. That is a possibilty....... Though why wouldn't they just have DL'd the client and played that way?
Stealthy_Monkey
That is a possibilty....... Though why wouldn't they just have DL'd the client and played that way? Because unless you went the same way I did through some russian websites of shady origination, you had no way of getting a key as an aussie. Main site is region locked on the store and so is Origin. My suggestion would be because today's a public holiday in Australia. Edited January 2, 2012 by Stealthy_Monkey
lollie
That is a possibilty....... Though why wouldn't they just have DL'd the client and played that way? Because you couldn't play after 22 Dec without adding your cd key, which is in the box in the post (red zone countries couldn't buy the digital copy - Origin IP blocked us, and still does, so we all bought hard copies of game and had to wait for the postie). DanielKT
It's dropped to around 400 now. If that was the new norm due to all the aussies getting their CD keys then thats going to be a problem..... Maybe you guys could pick 2 "unoffical" servers to spread out the apparent overload?
