Maylander Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Green is probably a bit too low, but high level blues + gear from daily quests on Ilum/Belsavis is certainly good enough. And yes, I assume epic PvP gear is good enough, but only if it actually has tanking stats. Is there even such a thing as proper tanking PvP gear? Does it have:- Lots of endurance.- Lots of defense.- Lots of shield absorb.- Lots of shield absorb chance. If it's only a DPS set then it'll most likely have tons of strength, crit, etc, which would not be good enough for tanking hard modes in my opinion. You need proper defensive stats to be solid enough or you'll die rather fast.
russmanOR Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 There is a tank pvp set, but it has defense rating and shield absorption rating only if i recall. and of course quite a bit of the stat budget is on useless expertise
Maylander Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Then it should be possible to tank with it to be honest. It's probably hard mode item level, so the budget should be big enough to grant enough def/shield for tanks to do hard modes with it.
