KrelosDarksky
Ive looked but cant find the answers to the questions I have ... When I change crew skills can I just change ONE of the three? When I change crew skills .. does it reset to level 1?If I switch BACK to the initial skill .. will it be back at the initial skill level or will it be back to level 1? Reason I ask is I have a character with Scavenging, Underworld Trading, Biotech and I'd like to drop Scavenging and try out Cybertech ... but not sure how/if that will effect me if I don't like it and want to switch back to Scavenging. Just wanting to have a little more information before I pull the trigger .. because if Im going to lose all that skill level I might as well take a few hours and roll a new toon with cybertech. Thank you in advance. Edited January 2, 2012 by KrelosDarksky
RvEijndhoven
Unless you have a ton of Scavenging materials stockpiled (then again it's Scavenging so you probably do) it's probably a very bad idea to switch that out for Cybertech, no matter how it works. Since, you know, Cybertech requires Scavenging Materials, which you won't be able to get more of yourself if you drop Scavenging. But eh, you start out at 1, yes and dropping the skill will make you have to level it back up all the way if you retake it later.
JackTFECow
Also keep in mind you can only have one crafting class. If you have Armstech you can't also have Cybertech. As far as bouncing back and forth I don't know the answer. Edited January 2, 2012 by JackTFECow
Ekrosyr
You should also know that you will lose all of your learned schematics should you decide to switch back your original crew skill.

Yeah .. it's a good point .. it was just that I have another toon with scavenging. Overall it sounds like I'll just roll another toon up to 10 and just grind some gathering/crafting on him. Thanks for the info.
