That knock down and knife, knife, knife none stop before you get up = bullcrap and needs to be majorly fixed. I am a very heavily geared TANK and when I get knocked down and killed in 2 shots by an operative, that just tells me the games VERY broken. Rainfeather Posted January 2, 2012 Share Posted January 2, 2012 (edited) I think the short of it is 'This will never be a good or balanced pvp game/experience, so just enjoy the story as much as possible and then quit for a better game' at least that's what everyone's been telling me lately and with certain things the way they are right now with the 'mmo' aspects I can at least see where they are coming from :/ Its a good game but for anyone looking for any sort of meaningful pvp this isnt it. I can deal with them but when I get knocked down and I cant get up no matter what I do even using my Unbreakable Will, then its broken. You got 3 shoted as a tank not geting healed, not using force push, not stunning, and probably was not in a pre-made. Lack of skill dealing with a good OP = having to deal with a 1vs1 killer. Being in a pre-made as a tank in a pvp match, and having heals on tap =win vs a OP or any team for most part. A OP can't burn down a tank and healer combo that know what they are doing period. This games story line is great, pve is great, the pvp is crap and I don't really see it getting better unless they replace their PvP developement team. All you try to do is act like an internet tough guy and I was on a pre-made and I did get heals, but when an operative can none stop spam the knife attack, and crit everytime for 3-5 a hit ya, nothing can out heal that. Wrong. When you can't get out of the stun for some reason, like unbreakable will not working for it but works for everything else, ya, you can't get out of it. Trigger words like kid are a setup for a response that lacks intelligence. when I get knocked down and I cant get up no matter what I do. This requires 2 points in their talent tree which are very high tier, so this suggests that the operative is high level as well as being specced into a tree that is known for its high damage opener followed by a laughable barrage of weak attacks (everything is now on cooldown). no matter what I do even using my Unbreakable Will, then its broken. Why would you use your incapacitate breaker on a throw down? Anybody that has pvp'd at any "respectable level" wold have realized by now that you cannot get out of a throwdown with Unbreakable Will... I know how to play and I am always in the top 2 ranking of the warzones. So don't tell me I don't know how to hang, because I can beat anyone, unless its a broken system. Which this very much is in this case, and not because I got killed in 2-3 shots being a TANK thats geared, but because it actually is. Glad we can all recognize the difference between OPs having strong openers that ignore armor(talents), and a "geared tank" that can kill everyone by his own admission. As a tank do you think you should destroy other classes who's sole purpose is to dps? Lastly, i would suggest to get more EXP(i know you said you have 300). Run with a healer that is not brain dead(they have ways of cc'ing threats till you can get up). Play smarter, using defensive cooldowns when you get knocked down. The people in bioware will realize whats up an they know when something doesnt have a chance to counterattack its overpowered, just ignore everyone an wait for the bat thats bound to be, its gonna be like canseco in steroids once again, but the bat like all pvp will take a while. prolly 5 months or more from other mmo experiences. p.s. But all my previous experience from late beta to early access to now has had me able to break the knockdown. And no, i do not get stuck in an animation. I instantly spring up and run to my Guardian screaming: GET IT OFF ME. Then again i do that with most things. Mostly Assassins.... Assassins really don't like me. I've watched multiple ppl in the last hour in Warzones that are breaking it, or I'm experiencing lag that makes it look as such. One healer in particular most have saved it every time for me, because as soon as I hit him with my opener, he was right back up on his feet.
