Letsplayrift
Since you cannot swap out item modifications from 50 gear and you have to use it as is,can you put in an actual functional wardrobe function so I can look how I want?

This would be very nice, don't know why they haven't implemented a system like that to the game...

Arress
Since you cannot swap out item modifications from 50 gear and you have to use it as is, can you put in an actual functional wardrobe function so I can look how I want? Oh snap... another time that my words come in handy 2 things MMOs have to do in the world today to survive 1. have something unique, that interests people, and changes(even every so slightly) gameplay in a positive manner 2. Do what other MMOs do... AT MINIMUM, do it as good as them... or better if you can. SWTOR fails at #2. This is another example of that.
LowfatEnvelope
Ya i wish it had a wardrobe system to. Luckily though i haven't had any terribly ugly gear except for helmets, and ye can turn those off.
illgot
This would be very nice, don't know why they haven't implemented a system like that to the game... because they can't let go of their precious orange custom gear. At first all gear was going to take mods. Then they changed it so only blue and up would take mods. Then Bio decided at the end of beta to instead use this mod gear as their way of allowing players to customize their look. It would have taken too much time and money to develop an appearance tab so they instead used their mod gear system. Bad thing is the orange custom gear costs the player more work and money than just using preset gear and the gain is non existent once you hit the 50s. Another bad thing, no set bonuses, no PvP benefits, no augments, and limited models available for customization. Bio took the easy way out and instead created a system which will cost them more time and real money to keep up than if they had just created an appearance tab.
