Lugtor
Why would a Chiss work for the Empire? Well Thrawn did it, because he thought only the Empire had the ressources and the order (as opposed by the chaos of a republic) to fight the "the great enemy". In ToR? I think they are there for the Thrawn fan boys (like me). In game: 1.The Empire recognizes your skills and employs you in turn for money and power. 2. You are like the american or iranian guys that go all Nazi. 3. Chiss IAs are actually double agents for the Chiss.
MasterKai
Ask a question about why the Sith Empire is xenophobic. Get a debate going about the xenophobia present in the Galactic Empire. What. EDIT: Also Lugtor, Chiss are present in the Sith Empire because the Chiss Ascendancy is the only ally the Sith Empire has. This very site can even tell you so. Cythereal
And all of this is why I'm very sad that my Chiss Imperial Agent couldn't join Malgus' splinter empire. An Empire built on the same meritocratic principles, but open-minded and more than willing to ally with and honor alien races? My Agent is right on board with that idea, but due to lousy game mechanics, she has to fight Malgus' empire anyway.
