  1. I agree with this. When the game is up, I play! When it's down for maintenance, I find that the QQs about maintenance are pretty entertaining. It's a win-win!
  2. Haha! Made me lawl, thanks. And I also agree with the OP. My husband and I have been playing since beta, and are still enjoying it. We also played WoW for a number of years and flitted from game to game after tiring of Blizzard's attempts to spoonfeed the new masses. We have found our new home in SWTOR. And no, neither one of us works for EA or BioWare. I wish I did, though.
  3. ^ This. I learned this the hard way too, as a healer in PvP. I like to have my 1 key bound to a quick heal. Had a very frustrating time in Civil War as I tried to interrupt attackers on the turrets by right-clicking and having my heal cast over and over.
  4. Yes to the first two. In fact, I wish you could see someone's guild when you /who someone in SWTOR. Whenever this happened in WoW, I would report the little beggar to his/her guildmaster.
  5. He didn't mean wait 'til 50 to get your speeder. The OP mentioned how much money 48K was, and this guy was saying "just wait 'til you're 50, speeders and speeder training cost way more then."
  6. You have the option in your preferences to completely hide your Legacy name/title on all your alts (which is what I do). So OP just enter something already and hide it. Problem solved.
  7. Oh for f--k's sake, the guy likes to PVP, leave him alone. I enjoy the stories myself, but I don't presume everyone does, and I certainly don't go around telling people to go play something else just because they don't enjoy the same things I do. OP was not being a d--kwad or anything; he was just asking a simple question. He didn't flame anyone, he didn't QQ, he didn't insult anybody. He doesn't deserve anybody's condescension.
  8. These colors also tell you how difficult you can expect missions to be when you look at them in your mission log (L), and how difficult you can expect enemies to be.
  9. Dear Osmedirez, I'd buy you a drink if I could. <3 me
  10. Ahahahaha!! What a great way to start my morning! XD It is sad how some people take online toons way too seriously. My husband has some female toons too, and he says as soon as he gets a whiff of any kind of interest from a guy who obviously thinks he's really a girl, he'll "say things only a guy would say" as he put it. That usually gives them a clue. I've had guys come on to my female toons as well, but soon as I whisper that my name is Ralph and blow them a kiss, they stop responding for some reason. (My name is not Ralph, but I took the name from a naughty nun-and-a-cab-driver joke...)
  11. Sunosan, to be honest with you, I thought you were truly a female as well. Women seem to more likely have a hard time saying no to people. Just my opinion. (And before the flaming starts, I am a woman. I'm not being hateful or sexist, just my opinion from personal observation.) Glad you finally grew a pair.
  12. I'm as helpful as they get (been known to chase after newbies to buff/heal, for example). Doesn't mean everyone I help is someone I'd invite into the guild. All of us in the guild are quite picky. The guild is our escape from the masses you find in general chat. Why would we want to bring general chat into the guild? That's great you enjoy that sort of thing. More power to you. Also, didn't you know... you can make friends and actually not have them in your guild. Maybe they're already in one of their own that they're happy with. Imagine that.
  13. Don't forget the puzzles strewn all over the galaxy. There are still datacrons I haven't figured out how to get to, and a puzzle on the Imperial Fleet I'm trying to figure out. I will only "not know" these things this one time, as I play this game for the first time, so I don't want to spoil it for myself by googling the solutions. Where's the fun in that?
  14. That person you quoted was actually being sarcastic.
