  1. The Mission Log currently in-game is wrought with bugs and is cumbersome. The hopes of this post, is to provide a basic discussion platform to build from, to truly make the mission log a great tool for the player base. Improvements will increase mission completion counts and will no doubt add increased subscriptions. The Following is a list of changes and problems with current mission log Primary Function of mission log is to state what needs to be done, not give a back history Usage of log should be for a few missions(3 max), not 25. List of missions should never have the ability to sort by mission level List of missions should not have location of where it starts, or starting location Helping a player with a mission you do not have should cause both players to be suspended for 8 hours Enhanced Mission Log prevents a player from doing anything that requires mission. i.e pvp if log is full Auto-kick players from groups and/or prevent all communication in-game if log is full Disable Reset/Abandon once mission begins. Delete should be only option. No Do-overs Flashpoint missions should not auto-create a mission entry, player should be locked out of all missions Remove rewards associated with missions, It's a mission not potential loot directory Other missions picked up will require either in-game confirmation to delete a character or mission Maximum number of Missions in log should be 3 Additional missions slots can be purchased but requires 1 Character Slot on server Slots can also be purchased for 10,000cc Slot purchases are per character and can never be purchased account wide These Changes to the mission log will not only increase value and added content to the game, but should increase story commitment and overall intrigue about character progression
  2. Dear SOE, I understand for the most part, that testing content before release is something that you are quite incapable of doing. I'm pretty sure down the long list of things being nerfed, modified, or removed from the game, that you could have, for once, just used your eyes and possibly looked at what you're doing. Nothing I enjoy more, then buying a bunch of new armor with glowing crystals, removing the mods to put them into legacy gear to find out that they don't fit. I thought, wait a second, i bought bracers, a helmet, a belt and a knife. No, the image is definitely bracers. But the tool tip says they are legs... ***!! Wait a second, the helmet that is clearly a helmet and not anything else is bracers? Hold on a second! The belt I really bought are really Gloves? http://postimg.org/image/ht6gdld7j/ Either my eyes are bad, or Quality Control has neither quality or control. Anyhow, once again SOE, you have done quite well at failing to do the most simplest of things. ./kudos
  3. I think you're right. The PVP exploitation has been an on going exploit for almost 8 months. Bioware seems to think there isn't a problem, but there is an obviously flaw in the system that a few people are abusing to trade wins. They are the ones that should banned too. I'm not sure how they can track this, but, if credits are exploited or made through exploitation. All credits from that exploit should be removed from the game. So if someone's cartel hyperpack was bought with exploited credits, then, the item bought should be deleted, and credits removed from the party they were bought from. Does it suck for the person who was selling it? Sure. It's a huge poop sandwich and we're all going to have to take a bite. Well, I'll say this, it will definitely cause financial woes for Bioware. I'm interested to see how this turns out.
  4. Please Bio-Ware, what ever you do, do not fix this. As I enjoy having to completely exit out of this poorly programed game and log all the way back in because I had switched to another character while in a WZ queue. This creates an exciting and interesting minigame that has endless hours of fun. /sarcasmOff Just like to request that maybe you guys test stuff before releasing it upon the paying customer. Some fanboys may find this fun and exciting, but I for one, don't like looking at load screens all day, this isn't my idea of fun.
  5. is the bug they error message saying that he wasn't queued or is it the fact that he has unlimited warzone access when he shouldn't?
  6. So, my buddy in my guild is a F2P account, he says he has no buff to grant him unlimited PvP access, but he is still able to get into pvp matches. When it's time to queue, we get a group message saying "PlayerName may not queue for Warzones, and did not queue with the group". But he's queued anyhow. Did they already implement the F2P unlimited access to pvp? I thought it wasn't suppose to happen till 2.4. It's cool they did it early though.
  7. Houses, Cars, Student Loans, High End Electronics, Expensive Home Furniture, and trinkets from someones junk sale from their garage, yeah, lets do a confirm on this, but seriously, I'm pretty sure i don't need to confirm a purchase of 800cr in-game. While on the subject of purchasing items in-game, I'd like to note, when going to the grocery store, most people don't buy their toilet paper by the square their cereal by the flake. Can we skip the "Are you really sure you want to spend a whopping 800cr to buy a single *&^!@*" and get right down to the brass tax. I want to buy 50 of item X, I don't want to discuss this, i don't want to form a committee, prepare a state for the Senate, submit a proposal, or otherwise engage in a 10hr debate regarding a single purchase of an item in-game that is 800cr. Is it to much to ask that i can specify how much i want to buy and just purchase it, instead of right clicking then left clicking 50 times to buy something? I know you folks at bioware enjoy a three hour long time sink of having players go through a mundane process of buying something, but get with the program. It's absurd to have to buy something one-at-a-time and then confirm each purchase. Think about the customer, then program it. If you're concerned about such things as creating tickets for unintentionally buying more than what a person wants, make the option toggle in the game settings, or offer it via Cartel Market. Something simple like, Enhanced Purchasing, 6000 cartel coins to allow a player to purchase multiple items for 10 minutes, if player doesn't adequately use their time, have the debuff from the Cartel Market delete all items on the players account, ban their account, then sue them for 50 million dollars. Something simple.
  8. Dear Bio-Ware, LucasArts, Disney, EA (ElectronArts) , and/or Mickey Mouse, I'm not sure I quite understand the new mini game recently added to the game. This new mini-game comes in the form of a icon located at the bottom left of the Main Quickbar. This new feature, which I enjoy immensely, brings me warm feelings to my heart. This fascinating new feature has endless possibilities, which I'll detail for everyone. Possibility 1) The icon shows as Locked. This interesting feature, seems to encompass a wonderful concept which seems to hold true, locking all icons into the quickbar area. This delightful UI concept locks down everything in place preventing random and/or unintending movement or removal of abilities from the quickbars. This feature is interesting in the idea that locked, means locked. Lets look at the word "Locked" and see what Webster's dictionary says about such things: Possibility B) The Unlocked Position. This interesting concept is just like Locked only the opposite. This SPLENDID, REMARKABLE, BRILLIANT, and AMAZING, feature gives the user an endless reign over ones abilities on the quickbar. One could say that is feature unlocks a person to do as they wish with their quickbar and that their imagination is only limited to the endless rearrangement of abilities. I would post the definition of Unlocked, but it is only the opposite of locked. Possibility C) Three Stage Locking Mechanism. Locked but unlocked, but shows locked, but it's not locked but according the the game it's locked but it's not locked because locked isn't locked when it should be unlocked but is locked but click and unlock, shows locked but not locked but click for unlock then click again to lock the locked but unlocked-locked feature of the locked unlocked locking mechanism that means locked. This exciting three stage locking mechanism that has the obvious ability to exist in the locked as well as the unlocked, but Bioware seems to think that the third stage of Locked-Unlocked is important and cannon to the star wars universe. Much like the lightsaber with three phases of activeness: on, off, and off/on. I look forward to the 4-phase locking system. I leave it to bioware to create this feature to lock abilities to a quickbar but all the icons that a person has put there are not really there but instead are the default drop of abilities as one would get during leveling, and then lock them. My suggestion, if someone locks a quickbar, it's stays locked and is permanent until changed by the user. Seems logical and to the point. This icon should reflect this toggle, and the game should update this icon based upon this toggle and should not put a default icon upon login or character change. Even doing away with this feature and keeping quickbars locked, and that an advanced interface editor that allows the change of abilities. Having to click warnings about the inability to change quickbars would be preferable to the 3 stages of locked/unlocked.
  9. So... what does this read to you guys? Sounds like one would pick up this mission on Dromund Kaas in the Sith Sanctum. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. These droids do not exist there, actually, they only exist on the fleet. I find it bizarre, that people rely on what pathetic information you give us, and then leave it to us to decipher what idiotic drivel you really meant. Do you actually ever put yourselves in the players perspective and actually look, use, interact, involve, listen, or other test what you do? You don't. You people actually have little to do with your own product. You just do, like a really bad NIKE slogan. Why test when you have a bunch of paying idiots for that. For future reference, when you implement something, don't play semantics with your paying customers, if something is new, tell us where it starts, not some silly idiotic statement about where you actually pick up the item, on the 2nd stage of the quest. For instance, T4-M7, isn't in the Sith Sanctum, it's on the fleet. The droid sends you to Dromund Kaas, where you talk to another NPC who no doubt gives you the damn item. THINK FOR ONCE. Thanks for what ever it is that you do.
  10. People might say that my expectations of Bioware and SWTOR are to high and that I should not have any or super low expectations, because if you have no expectations, you'll never be disappointed. This game is nothing but an utter disappointment, so my opinion can't be any lower. What I Expect.... Not to be booted at the end of a PVP match right as it ends.... To be able to complete codex entries in the game that have been there since the get go.... Imperials to not suck at PVP.... that last part is just wishful thinking.
  11. There are many aspects of this game that can be improved tremendously by adding a few select features to the game. The following is just a brief list from an Imperial's side of things. Rebels may have similar aspects that they would like to add. Fix or allow the two taxi systems on Dromund Kaas to be joined. Purchased through legacy or cartel, 500cc/Char or 1000cc/Account Utilitize the Mapping - Allow the usage of waypoints 100cc/Char or 800cc/Account Companion: Vette - Allow the continuance of Vette's quest line with Shock Collar On. 500cc Kick, Jab, Punch, Backhand, Roundhouse Kick, and Body Slam to be added as various "Punish" abilities for Sith Each Punish ability should be on a separte timer and timers should be reduced to 5 seconds each. 900cc/Char 1800cc/Account Ability to add Shock Collars to other companions. 200cc/Char 700cc/Account. Add ability to use the Shock Collar to "Punish" companions in addition to any Punish abilities. 550cc/Char 2200cc/Account New Missions: Allow the extension of current missions from 25 to 100. Divide Mission Add-on Blocks, for an addition 10 missions for 350cc/Char 900cc/Account Bind On Pickup: Single use ability to remove the bound status from an item. 50cc Inventory Sort: Allow inventory sort by page in bank. 100cc/Char 450cc/Account Overall Legacy Resource Tab: Allow access to the same resources amoung all characters of a legacy. 1000cc/Char 4000cc/Account Warzone Mission Select: Allow to Queue up for specific Warzones. 900cc/Char 2200cc/Account Adrenal Timer: Allow Legacy Perk increase function, 5sec 500cc, 10sec 1000cc, 15sec 2000cc, 30sec 4000cc, 60sec 10000cc. Cummulative approach Resolve Bar: Make the Resolve bar mean something and actually prevent you from being chain stunned. 3000cc/Char 500000cc/Account Enhanced Codex System: Allow the purchase of codexes for the completion of planets. 500cc/Codex Entry
  12. sometimes a little humor and a few quick jabs might keep bioware alert and motivated to do their jobs
  13. Preface: I received a security warning today regarding http://www.swtor.com as an untrustworthy site, I wonder if they just meant the people than run the company, anyhow, I digress. Here is the post. So, I started a new character, a Sith Warrior. Lovely person mind you. He enjoys long walks on the beach, quiet nights by the fire, reading a book, or punishing Vette repeatedly for her continued failures. I will make another post about this, which is, I think Punish should be on a shorter timer and also include kicks and other assorted ways to insure that Vette does what I tell her. So, I'm trying to complete Korriban as an entire planet in the codex achievements stuff, only to find out that two points in the Codex haven't made it to live and that they only existed in Beta. I figure, hey, Bioware forgot this minor part. I travel to Dromund Kaas and attempt to do the same thing. Well, lets just say, I'm completely unimpressed with Bioware. This isn't because they didn't transfer this to live, it's because it's gone a full year without them actually fixing it. It shouldn't take a year to fix these things. It should take less than 3 weeks. Some solutions to this problem and maybe some conversational dialog, because I'd hate for this to sound like me just bashing on Bioware, because, that's just out of line and unproductive, and maybe undeserving and stuff. Does Bioware actually test these items? Does Bioware actually read feedback from beta-testers? Is this game still in Beta? Is this really a game and instead an attempt to see how far a person's patience can be pushed? How many people have had problems with being unable to complete Codex entries? When should the customer actually expect some results from the people they employ? Thoughts, Suggestions, Comments, Concerns?
  14. Is there going to be any mobile app for SWTOR that will allow some basic access to your characters in game, such as: View Character Equipment View Inventory Items View/Edit Cargo Hold View/Modify Companions Send Companions Out On Missions View Guild Chat
  15. i was on there yesterday... 5 people in ME cantina
  16. Pre-Ordered and Registered Code on 7/23: 1st Wave: ZIP 2nd Wave: ZERO
  17. Like most companies, they will string us along for as long as possible because they feed on it.
  18. so, there's no way you can say when the next wave of invites is going to go out? Nothing I enjoy more than sitting around pressing F5 for 10 hours
  19. thank god they are shutting that horrible game down! i've been asking for that, for a long while. Just really hoping they go bankrupt and all the idiots at SOE end up on the streets and picking food out of dumpsters
  20. what you expect? joyjoy feelings?
  21. sounds like some hijinks going on. EA will trump all those who pre-ordered on the first day and go strictly with ORIGIN pre-orders first
  22. 7/23 tho i expect all the origins pre-orders go first. It's an EA thing i think
