  1. Just answered your own question. I believe it was said all packs would make a return eventually though, yes.
  2. It does seem to be a trend around the genre. While I don't support such a system myself; I'd be surprised if one didn't make its way to SWTOR eventually. Preferably I'd like to see a leveling option in which you run through the story and it grants you levels at certain points (rather than by XP), so by the time you're finished with the class story you're at max. Although that'd probably require more work than BW/EA would be willing to shell out for.
  3. What they really need to do is just release it as an emote; along with all the other awesome stuff they've wasted in this manner. Trying to persuade BW to increase the timer on the resting toys is beyond pointless. I don't think they've ever explicitly said why they won't, despite the demand, but I would assume it has to do with the engine.
  4. I think you're just misunderstanding the system. . . There's no way in which you can spend real money on in-game combat advantages for GS. The only thing you'll be able to do is buy different ships faster.
  5. Just for a little clarification; the FP related to GS is role and level neutral. It's not restricted to 55. So basically what you're asking for is already on the way.
  6. 'Convenience vs. P2W' is an argument this genre has been having for years. Hard to imagine that'll stop now with GS. Ultimately players will pay to skip the perceived grind and the model will continue. Really it doesn't seem all too bad in this instance; from what I've experienced it's not too extreme of a grind anyways. A lot of the people complaining have been conveniently forgetting about the monthly stipend as well. As the system currently works on the PTS you'd be able to convert over 12k fleet req a month via the stipend. Unless they change it so that you can buy requisition directly there's nothing to really complain about here.
  7. We already got bonuses for pre-ordering. I'll take my Dr. Oggurobb holostatue over 500 CC any day.
  8. I don't have Facebook so I'm not exactly sure what picture you're referencing, but from the sound of it IGN used the exact picture for one of their articles today (well yesterday I guess) asking "Sith or Jedi?". Couldn't tell ya more than that. Edit- Hmm, well judging by the other comments I'd assume it was a link to the page I mentioned above.
  9. An expansion is about to become a subscriber benefit and everyone is raging because they bought it 6 months ago for 10 dollars? Lol? I'll just repost my thoughts here since this seems to be the reasonable thread for discussion. Overall I'd say it was a great move on BW's part. Growth in the subscribing playerbase is not a bad thing.
  10. Nope. If you think the majority of people are going to wait out space you're beyond clueless.
  11. They're giving new buyers coins to compensate them for purchasing so close to it going 'free'. The rest of us got our money's worth months ago. Just stop guys. Edit- ^^ The 7th? Lol that sucks
  12. Title might be a little underwhelming for those who bought it early but it's certainly a good deal for everyone else. Anyone that's been playing since RotHC launched and hasn't gotten their money's worth will never be satisfied. Those of us that pre-ordered already got a bonus anyways. Very smart move by BW with 2 other expansions being mentioned as in the works. If that's how they plan on dealing with digital expansions (meaning only one active at a time and eventually turning into subscriber benefit) I heartily approve! Heck even if it's not this is still a great one-time thing. Perhaps this means we're a bit closer to the next expansion than most of us thought.
  13. Well I don't know how much fun was ruined, but yeah it is pretty disappointing they decided to increase this Event's longevity by reducing the amount we can do each week rather than adding new content. Figures. And here some of us were finally hoping for some dynamic content.
  14. If this is the case then absolutely you're ninja'ing the group, at least the other healers (assuming you're the same class obviously). Especially considering how few PUGs could actually make it through a HM. As a healer that needs HM I'd definitely tell you to switch chars or keep off the 'need' button. If you want to run HM Ops to gear your alts find an appropriate guild.
  15. Why bother unlocking them in the collections when you can already copy an infinite amount and send them via Legacy weapons? The easiest legacy weapon to get would probably be one of the bowcasters from the Bounty Event. If you don't already have the rep for it you'll be able to get it next Bounty Week, which starts the 10th (assuming you have the chars to get a weeks' worth of rep).
  16. Hmmm, the only word I can see that might trigger the filter would be "turd", but I couldn't confirm that either way. Seems like it'd be a silly thing to censor if that was the case. I highly doubt it has anything to do with religion or the like.
  17. I totally understand why people would want to see such a system, but I have to disagree big time. The amount of work it'd take for companion dialogue to make sense on new classes would be enormous. And if there wasn't going to be brand new dialogue for every class it's not something I'd be interested in. And expecting that amount of resources to go into making such a system available is very very unrealistic. Personally I'd just prefer it if they just continue adding new ones and expand the dialogue for the ones we already have.
  18. And that has to do with what? Going by that asinine saying we should all think this is a flawless game, which it is obviously not.
  19. Yep I'd agree with this. A little common courtesy goes a long way. As the OP found out a green rep item isn't worth being alienated by the rest of the group. Unfortunately most people that play this game don't seem to care about anyone else one way or another though.
  20. LOL! I love how some of you are acting like the OP personally called you out. As someone that has 3 50+ Operatives I'd be all for a stealth bar. Like you said, one already exists for the cover mechanic so it's not like they'd be breaking their backs to develop it. Having a bar that appears while you're in stealth that concentrates all useful abilities is not a bad idea. Some of you don't like it because you've never played stealth and see it as unnecessary, and others are just getting offended for seemingly no reason (although I'm guessing it's because you feel this is a slight on BW ). I wouldn't get your hopes up on ever seeing one, but it is a valid idea!
  21. So you want them to remove a feature that the community has been overwhelmingly positive towards so a handful of people can get use of their cheap "Fleet Pass" consumables? LOL! Simple solution to a non-existent problem; don't buy the upgrades.
  22. Well it's a complaint I see often enough to say it's valid, but I don't understand it personally. If all you want to see is the story so what if you don't get unnecessary experience from it?
  23. Well you see if more people started testing then they wouldn't be able to QQ incessantly about the new patch not being tested enough when it goes live. So really the only people we have "testing" are those that run fansites and want a first look, or super hardcore guilds that can't be bothered to learn a fight on the live server. If you look into the PTS section you'll see they actually ridicule people who test out the SM operations; about what you'd expect from them I suppose (raiding guilds that is). It's beyond pathetic how many of you demand incentive/ reward to play on the PTS, but are then just as quick to come here blaming BW and QQing about every little bug that arises on patch day. If BW were to add incentive people wouldn't be testing 2.4; they'd be "testing" the quickest and easiest way to get said rewards. To create a system that would regularly provide what you guys call "incentive" would be an obscene waste of resources for QA testing purposes. The way this community is BW would have to continuously expand on that system with every patch. No thanks. Edit- Look at it this way; you can either spend a couple days going over things on the PTS to avoid bugs, or you can wait a couple days for BW to iron out said bugs when they go live. It's as simple as that, no reason for all these obnoxious demands.
