Hit it right on the nose. It's a common business practice regardless of the means they use to do it. A free month may seem drastic but in a subscription based game, customer retention is key. They released update 1.2 and handed out free months to players to get them either A) Re-interested or B) More hooked to the game.

Yeah:( I tried making my character use mods from my PvP gear in oranges but no expertise so it's a moot idea. Sad face. Having said that they don't have armoring mods either.... O.o. What was the purpose of making EVERYONE use the same looking gear when you have moddable gear meant to customize your look?

I agree with OP. A couple of the things that made SwG great was it`s sandbox features. Being able to open shops, make houses and cities and open-world space combat.

As much as I hate QQ threads about this sort of thing, the rest of you attacking him, need to have learn how to comprehend what you read. He is not complaining that the CE store has fluff items, he is not complaining that they don't make him a super soldier of epic proportions, he is complaining that he doesn't have things pertaining to his certain class and that there isn't much in the way of variety in the store. That's all he's saying.

I don't think the UI is terrible at all. I don't know why people think it's so bad. Having said that... no macros... please. Just a good way to ruin the game. A really good way. Quickly automate everything so that I don't even have to play the game! :/

No, it's not that thread again, you can breathe easy. I for one am not in the day one (input code on AUG2nd) but it's fine, I went to work, made some money, ate some food, pooped etc. Anyways, onto my main point, I wanted to know from some people who actually got in on Day one: Were the servers laggy or smooth? How was the zone populations roughly? Was there in fact a warzone bug that dealt out ridiculous xp(and were the queues long)? AA? Are there many "high level" people already? Ie. 25+ Did you **** a brick when you saw your invite?

This whole forums is a QQ-fest. Makes me doubt if I'll ever enjoy playing the game with such a large amount of whiners.
