If someone asks a question in gen chat (which is probably the worst way) then DM that person and offer to help. The community is the community - I've never understood why but some people get off on being *****. The answer is to look in the most unlikely of places Eve Online. Eve has a ruthless community in general but if you can get through all the scams, you can find guilds dedicated to helping people - places like Eve University comes to mind. How about creating a guild on both sides dedicated to those ends vs dedicated to end game as most guilds are. End of the day, it's all cosmetic. The value that is placed on the items (whether decor, armor or whatever) is the value that the players place on it - just like any player driven economy. Ultimately, it would have been better if it was a multi-pronged approached - direct purchase via cartel market with RNG but the potential of a lower cost/effort ratio or an in-game mechanism to earn the pieces that you want through extended effort. Only having one path to get the items into the game via the cartel market is poor design but is common practices in most games. I saved up and purchased the Malgus armor piece by piece until I had the complete set. Seeing others in it doesn't diminish my feeling of achievement because they bought but I have the scars and stories that go with the armor now. Really, it's their loss. It's weird because it's like people don't actually want to play the game to achieve things. They want a "here you go" button.

I think that the least invasive is alt 224 which gives a pretty clean lower case a - I was able to get Jαxon (that is the spelling with the alt character) with it which has been a long time name for me in MMOs

I'm not into RP but I don't have anything against it. The big challenge has always been that general chat is the only way to communicate en mass. Ultimately, if people want to RP then they should give zero ****s about what other people say. Just block the trolls and you will eventually end up with a general chat that is more aligned to what you are looking for. Trolls are pathetic in and of themselves. It's a game, people play it differently and I never understood people getting off on being ***** but to each their own.

High ground means nothing if they have air support - which given the size of the Sith forces you can assume. Taking the fight to the troop level effectively negates that as they won't strafe their own troops (at least not in non-fictional battles). The shoulder charge is called self sacrifice and/or valor. I just found out about the new Ewok companion - are they really going to be that game? Ewoks, much like Gunguans, are a plague in the Star Wars universe. Seriously, if you are going to have this mutant teddy bear in the game then I hope you drop some of these monsters in the open world somewhere. Just start ignoring people and eventually you will weed them out of chat. I'm 40 and have played mmos since Ultima Online - unfortunately, this is nothing new. You just have to realize that within each mmo community there are niches. Old gamer guys, early teens, girl gamers, hardcore PVPs and probably a creeper or two playing out of their Chevy Astro van on someone else's wifi wearing a ball gag. Plenty of dyes on the GTN and you can also craft dyes. Now, they may not be the colors that you specifically want but that comes down to your personal preferences. Actually it's not. In the US, the 2013 budget for new currency printing is $797M. So that is $797 million dollars that is wasted on printing a physical item, A physical item that use could easily be replaced by a non-physical item (debit card, EFT etc) that shifts the cost of usage away from tax payers. "Cash" or paper currency is as antiquated concept that cost this country $8B over the course of 10 years and people who use it are fiscally irresponsible. By the way, can I borrow a dollar? Thanks!

They are using the weekend to "evaluate" the impact of the transfers on the destination servers. So hopefully they will slot the two remaining PVP East servers into either FM or POF early this week. Hopefully. My confidence in their decision making and timeliness is pretty low at this point, also being from DM.

Here's my guess, at least for East PVP, they will cram all the servers into FM and POF and then create a new East PVP server and allow people to transfer from FM/POF to it and gate new people onto it. Kinda cram and then smooth out since it would be hard to have anyone new come in when the servers are already jammed.

So I was just looking at something....have all the West PVP servers been moved already? If so, then it is literally just us 2 East PVP servers and a handful RP-PVP servers? That just makes it worse...
