  1. Dead, A, Flogging, Horse, Are and You... Rearrange the above to form a commonly used phrase, excluding 'and'. Let us face it, if it wasn't Star Wars and (LOL) the creator of KoTOR 1/2 noone would still be playing this game. It is mediocre at best. They lack the resources/ability/foresight/leadership to do what needs to be done. Mergers/Transfers should be in already, instead of some ****** legacy system that noone cares about, they should have made world PvP a viable and interesting alternative to the monotonous "hey guise lets pvpeee... click da box!" It is clear they are simply rolling out planned content as if the game wasn't tanking. Couple that with THE most vague feedback system in the history of MMO development... I like this game, I hope it succeeds. I am just glad I don't get to play most of the time, or else boredom would have had me quit long since.
  2. Premade = four players. Premading is not OP, coordination of those four players is OP. Nerf teamspeak/ventrilo! Or Grow some balls, and, make a team yourself. Let me end by explaining what MMORPG stands for Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game... Guess why I highlighted the Multiplayer?!
  3. If it is too much for you to bear, feel free to leave and/or not queue for PvP. I am sure you will be greatly missed. Let's say it happens 1 out of 50 games. That is a whopping 2% of your total games you may experience this. GAME BREAKING! Especially with dat 15 minute lockout for AFKing out of Warzones... Oh wait... Let's up the ante a bit and say it happens 10 of 50 times, that is 20% chance. Meaning two out of five games you might see the issue. An average game lasts 15 minutes. You can go 45 minutes without seeing the bug... that does not qualify as game breaking. Butter up, buttercup.
  4. Marauders are actually extremely squishy, minus their cooldowns. Their 99% damage invuln is on a three minute cooldown with their +50% ranged/melee defence and -20% Force/Tech damage bubble being on about the same. Their 30 second retaliatory damage mit + reactive damage drops if you don't hit them for 8 yes eight seconds. That is the duration of one stun + two seconds. The ONLY damage that matters in PvP is spike damage. DoT damage (whilst padding stats) does not kill people. Spike damage is the lord and master of PvP. It is very easy to avoid Marauder/Sentintel spike damage. As they have very little and it required chaining abilities that should not be possible due to cross healing/tauntung/CCing all of which either negate their limited spike or prevent it altogether. I hope this helped clear up any misunderstanding(s) you had about class balance.
  5. Sadly, BioWare cannot balance to compensate for people of weak moral character. If they could give weak minded people a backbone, they would have no need to be in the computer game industry.

    My Pleas to the devs

    1. If you die in two, yes 2 seconds you are dying in 1.5 global cooldowns and are obviously being focused by the entire eight man opposing team. You should probably look at your positioning. 2. You express discontent at the quality of PvP, yet would like them to implement a rated system which would just encourage exploitation of the system you just finished expressing discontent with. I would have to question your logic on that one. 3. "Fun" open world PvP areas, this was called Ilum. Noone liked it because it was open world and had no limits of population cap. It got removed. Also R v R or Realm versus Realm would not really work as it is faction based PvP. I do however like the concept of more world PvP, this is Star Wars after all not hutballZ. 4. This is 100% spot on and must be done immediately. I am sick of having a BM geared Assassin from the "take your chances, roll the dice" RNG era, rotting on Naddist Rebels (possibly the worst server in the history of MMO game play). 5. They had this, it was called Mercenary Commendations... apparantly it was OP and was therefore removed. I, personally would like to see it reinstated. 6. I would love this, sadly this game is only innovative in it's voice overs. It is however a mainstream MMO and will hopefully live long enough to correct it's initial teething problems et al.
  7. Ok, concept is simple. You post your class, along with what situation are you having difficulty with. Then people of the same class who have suggestions, strategies etc. quote your post to reply. /discuss...
  8. No disrespect intended, but, anyone can 1 vs. 2 when they are vs. bads. When you fight players of equal skill (and by skill I mean class knowledge and gear level) you won't be pulling many 2 vs. 1 victories.
  9. James Ohlen... Please get your entire dev team to buy a subscription to World of Trashcraft. Get them to all team up and play Alterac Valley. Then get them to insert this into Ilum, with NPCs (and companions), objectives and make it reset every few hours. Instant WoW slayer of an MMO.

  11. If you cannot win a 2 vs. 1 with a Marauder/Sentinel (And you are geared above 1k Expertise) you are low skilled. What server are you on? I will make a character on it and we can discuss how you can improve your tactics. Infact I would go one step further, if a healer cannot keep a player (who is kiting appropriately) up in a 2 vs. 1 they are a very bad healer. p.s. why do people assume I play this class? For the second time, I play Infiltration Shadow and I have very little problem fighting them. p.p.s. Please, please I am absolutely on the edge of my seat to know which classes cannot beat a Marauder/Sentinel 2 vs. 1?
  12. Then I am sorry, but, I am fairly sure you are bad. Guard = -50% damage; Taunt = -30% damage; CC = -100% damage. If one healer cannot keep someone up 1 vs. 1 in a situation where said person has -80% damage on them for 6 yes SIX seconds... I feel sorry for them. Cross healing has ALWAYS been a problem. People are only now figuring out that stacking Tanks/Healers is the efficient way to PvP.
  13. This game is on it's way to being a 'dead horse' the community (at least active on the forums) is one of the worst I have ever seen in almost ten years of playing MMORPGs. Until now I have never had the experience of people who would rather post ten threads on how some class needs a nerf, instead of three threads on how a class can be countered. I cannot believe this is an example of the same humanity that clawed it's way out of the Dark Ages, through numerous plagues and world wars... only to give up at the sheer atrocity that is class balance in MMORPGs.
  14. Sadly, you are showing your age (no disrespect intended). Streams of bad players are a waste of time. Talented players streaming is a resource to skill-up. Especially in PvP. It is also a medium to ask questions related to higher end content. Yes, 90% of streamers are bad at the game, but, that is why you watch the other 10%.
  15. Sarcasm, the lowest form of wit. I decided to make a thread on the issue in the hopes that if this information was reposted for the millionth time, the average Joe ex-WoW player(s) may actually take the time to read and comprehend it. Do I need to start making instructional videos "How to PvP for Dummies"? I mean I will if it's what it takes to get out of this dogmatic "NERF DAT CLASS CUZ OP MONGO SMASH" mentality that is actually choking this game. If I had $1 for every turret mage I see in this game, I could probably have got my six month subscription + Collectors Edition free.
