Ability pruning/merging has ruined every MMO it's ever tried on. Heck Star Wars Galaxies ended up closing because their NGE/Combat update completely gutted what was once a fantastic game. Ability pruning is a scape goat for "I don't want to learn my class or a viable rotation and want 4-5 buttons I can line up in order and just click". It's boring.

The same thing has happened to me 20 times in the last 10 minutes. I am about done with this damn game. I've reinstalled twice.

Same. I was playing fine this morning, now I am stuck with a greyed out play button. "This application has encountered an unspecified error. Please try this patch again." I've already had to reinstall prior to this for other issues once, I am so glad I paid to come back to this. Looks like I am cancelling and shelving this for the final time.

Just did it, only despawned when I stayed in stealth. Placed -> stood -> immediate spawn

Each planet has equipment com vendors or "specialty vendor". The specialty will have blues for cash or orange adaptive for cash. Get a cheap adaptive set and just swap new mods into your favorite adaptive gear. Use the equipment com vendor when you have ample coms to save money

I use to play SWTOR, I was a founder yadda yadda but I am so over leveling in any MMO. How fast does the 12x alleviate the time played till 50? I really want to play SWTOR again but could care less about leveling. Thanks for your time.

Do you even know about GW2? Dynamic events 'just appear', and have multiple paths that it can take depending on if the player fails or succeeds. i.e Centaurs raiding a camp, if you save it, you get to launch a counter attack, if it fails they own the camp and you lose all the npcs there for a while. no area will ever be to low or too high as you sidekick up and down. A level 30 going into a level 5 zone drops down to level 5. GW2 is innovative, and from watching numerous beta videos it's WORLDS ahead of SWTOR.

if you want exploration you should look up some new press beta videos from GW2, you can literally explore to your hearts content, and dynamic events happen around you in a vibrant ALIVE world.

Nope, my sub runs out in a few days. If I could go back in a time machine I would never let myself sign up for this website, or buy the DDE. I wasted too much time here for the same old crap. Right. In the real world, you will be criticized, sorry that's how life works. There wouldn't be this much criticism if the product they put out was up to par. When people spend their hard earned money they expect a certain level of quality. You bring up the point of 'bashing', yet call people whom you never met 'no bodies' who 'couldn't design a door knob'. In the real world, we call that a Hypocrite.

I have less than 10 days or so before mine goes away. I've tried, I really did. The pve is repetitive, the pvp is a cc fest...sigh. I've wasted a lot of time here since 08, too. If you love the game, logic would dictate you should try to retain subscribers, instead of lambasting them as you're doing. Hypothetically, if there is a continual exodus of players, and the money dwindles, so does the support for content, expansions, etc. WoW didn't release all those expansions because they 'loved their fans', it was because they were making stupid amounts of money.

A theme park game can have exploration! It's like the devs want to completely control what we do, when we do it. The lightsaber restrictions were one of them. "We want you to know who you're facing in pvp" Hmmmm if he shoots lightning, a sorc, if he melee's me and shoots lightning an assassin, but nope! That would be too difficult for the new breed of gamers.

Don't care, go watch the yogcast videos of WorldvWorldvWorld. Keep sieges, with trebuchet's, arrow carts, siege golems. Epic battles with destructible buildings. THREE SERVERS fight at the same time capturing and pillaging = epic. Changing your weapon changes your skills. Shall I go on? GW2 will have REAL pvp. And no you won't see me back. There is still way to much CC in this game. Harpoon, stuns, knockback, slows, stealth class sleeps. I mean really? I break free of a stun, force speed, boom harpoon pulled back.

Only certain servers are thriving as everyone is trying to reroll to actually be with other people. I tried to get into the game, made every single class, rerolled the same class to try different AC's, and I just cant get into it. 12 days left on my sub, this was the last attempt for me.
