  1. Just cancel like everyone else is doing, it's the only way they will learn.
  2. In your post you express confusion at other people, in having thoughts and feelings that differ from yours. So you start a poll to make it seem legitimate, ok let me play. What are your top 5 reasons why you left the game? Why do you stick around? 1. I liked KOTOR's story and enjoyed my SWTOR character right up until my character stopped having fun at level 50. 2. My entire guild left, for many of the reasons why the other million people left. 3. My server has been slated for transfer, no one was left on it. 4. When I took the transfer I lost some of my good names, I am one of the long time and loyal supporters, helped with the beta, bought the CE, signed up the day the old website opened. Why the hell should I have to change. 5. The only response or acknowledgment I got was warnings from moderators, not a (we will do what we can) or (we value your support and money) nope, I got more disrespect. And to answer the why do we stick around part, I paid for 6 months on the first day. So as much as I love Star Wars and Bioware games, I am angry and my loyalty is now contempt. I payed for the right to politely protest my treatment, I have never asked for much here and did not deserve to be trivialized or silenced.
  3. Our identity was important to many of us loyal fans and subscribers, sadly consolidating for the warzones and pug groups took precedence. The people that stay on the old servers to try and preserve their names will be joining us once they start closing them down. Think about it, why would they take on the additional expense of empty servers after the purge is completed, one way or the other, if your server is transferring out, you loose.
  4. Nope it isn't, my old guild is gone now, my new guild is scattered, my good names are now forfeit, I play for the story and the quests on the planets, the actual Star Wars parts or atleast the things that made me feel like I was part of the Star Wars universe. If you pvp the higher numbers mean you can cycle through the pvp maps quicker and get into pug dungeons at light speed, if that's you, enjoy. It aint me and now that my identity is largely gone, so am I.
  5. I posted this nearly verbatem and it was deleted and I was warned by some forum mall cop. I, like you have been a champion of this game and brought my guild here, constantly defend it on forums at places like mmorpg.com and have tried to be constructive and patient. When the only acknowledgement you get is some little joker who wont let you vent no matter how polite it was, not some foaming at the mouth rant mind you, it tends to be the final straw. I bought 6 months to go with my copy of the CE and I'm looking at other mmorpg's to play now. Bioware has absolutely destroyed the relationship I had with this game, but instead of sending me a message about how they will look into a fair way to get some of my names back, I get deleted and warned. I cant imagine a more ignorant way to treat the people that actually pay to play this game.
  6. I unsubbed today, there is a common theme here and endgame is it. I will come back when there is a reason other than dailies or repetative pvp to log on for. I hope they break out of the trans and start opening up the Star Wars to the players.
  7. Endgame is my new reality, I don't like it, I recommend you give people ownership by making them part of the Star Wars universe. That feeling ends at level 50 when the wow factor of the top notch voice acting and story ends, Start shoveling the sand into the box. Guilds need property, a cause, adventure, creation, customization, exploration and to make an impact on the amazing worlds already created.
  8. You wont find a bigger fan of this game or Bioware than me, I was here the day the website went up, I have the CE and Malgus statue on my desk. I unsubed today and feel like no one here listens to the fans at all, if there is a focus group making the suggestions they need to be fired. What a waste of such an amazing foundation, the npc's talking to you, the personal stories, and then it stops and turns into dailies and scripted pvp. OPEN the WORLDs up and let people live in the Star Wars universe, I'm out.
  9. I love ellements of sandbox for longevity aslo, the few fans they have are usually die hard. It's nearly impossible to add in exploration when the maps are so channeled, customization and personal property cant be droped in because it has to be coded into the game at the outset. Game developers shoot for the subscriptions, try and make a profit on their investment then taper off efforts according to the population. I wish we could have more of an active role in the planets, war and universe aswell, but it just wont happen, what will happen is more of the same to try and appease players as long as they can. More dungeons, more controlled pvp, more loot, I wish it could be different but Bioware cant change the direction now. I thought the stories and voice overs really made the game special, but at level 50 most people I know are gone and I'm not motivated to run dailies.
  10. I was thinking more in terms of keeping the existing player base, adding new ones is always ongoing. Any game additions or changes you would like to keep people playing at 50 and interested in the bulk of content already ingame?
  11. Sith Warrior story is amazing, best is subjective but I really like that one.
  12. I feel the answer unltimately to the dwindling subs is endgame, a term that is foreign to sandbox games. Although everyone gets there in there own time, the results once there seem to be predictable.....they quit. This is sadly where themepark style games are weak, it is fair to argue Sandbox games never attain a real large base to begin with, but a merge of the two may be the ballance we need. I would urge Bioware to consider more content inline with the freedom, exploration and creativity a sandbox has to offer as they have already put forth an amazing themepark. This may seem confusing to players who pvp to 50, but anyone who spent the time to playout the stories on each planet to level would agree. Alot of work has been done to create vibrant, living worlds, now we need ideas and suggestions for us to visit them, repeatable missions aren't enough. Those who have played other games long term please feel free to offer your insight into what kept you there. I used to spend hours in SWG looking for starship parts, farming parts for my saber, decorating my homes and ships, engaging in open world pvp, ect.
  13. The game is amazing, I aint going anywhere until Bioware makes SWTOR II. Honestly the only people bashing the game are shills from other game sites.
