  1. Mix Rakata and BM gear and you are over 22K health and still hit like a mac truck in pvp, but once you got it....there is no purpose left. Companions have no meaning after level 50....you marry, end of story...no more interaction with your companions when all are at 10K affection...Hit lightside 5, you are done...you get to buy a bike for 99K....no other real benefit. Crafting is a joke beyond anyhting I have seen, as there is NO benefit to crafting besides Biochem...yeah another fix in patch 1.2.....so ppl can add augments to gear in patch 1.2, but the new gear of course will outshine that again.... Patch 1.2 no talk of fixing the guild social apsect, except guild banks are in finally...sorry but mass mail and other guld functions need to be added too. In order for a game to succeed you MUST have the social aspect of the game too, the one that brings the hard core and the casual together....WoW did it, SWG did it as did many others.....here it is the opposite, this game leans towards ANTI-social.

Come on folks...in almost every game, you can swim, got guild banks, guild halls, Guild mass message service, you run out fo quests your level and have to do trash mobs for extra xp...this game is WAY TOO EASY. All games had 20X more content in them at launch than this game did. This game has no social aspect at all, pretty much following AoC down the same trail..... Soon there will be server merges to hlep the under populated....did WoW do that??? lol, they kept adding servers,... Anytime there is talk of server mergers only 2 months after release, that game is doomed....
  3. Made 50, got full Bm gear, got rakata, got my companions in all champ gear. Did EV and all that jazz..... -Ilum still broke and after patch 1.1.5 Ilum is no longer relevant. -After patch 1.1.5 any achievements made by those who put in the time will be wiped away, as valor will be on easy mode in WZ..... -PvP will no longer exist, as WZ now give credit to daily and weekly ilum mission, tho you really can not call Ilum pvp (zerg fest with 2-6FPS) and the turrets are constantly broken. -ALL fixes will be in patch 1.2...the holy grail of fixes to come.....maybe within 3 months from now..who knows. Bottom line too many bugs and broken content/quests.....we are paying for beta. Wish they would have implemented the character transfer to PTS sooner and maybe more could be addressed, as the mods here will not allow us to bring up bugs that exist on live servers..... oh and this post will be deleted by the mods as it is negative in content...but who cares, sub cancelled.....see ya!!!
  4. As a Gunnery spec you are a stationary turret, with assault you are mobile... of the 2, it really depends on playstyle tbh. On ilum and Civil war and huttball, Assault is prob the best spec...for Voidstar, gunnery is best with a pocket healer. That has been my observation. Assault can do as much damage as gunnery, but the DoT (incindiary round) last 18 seconds........you can hit various players with it, especially healers then follow up with HiB, then do a full Auto and have HiB free and waiting. For me it procs alot. Basically you are fighting, using Hammer Shot with plasma cell snaring your targer, hit them with IR, and HiB, throw a Cryo grenade, full auto and HiB again, the back to IR and Hammer (throwing you plastique as it comes up) also do not forget plasma grenade in your rotation. I love it when stealther use their stealth with a sliver of life and I use the plastique and see them go boom and die a few yard away....or die from the 18 sec DoT. Yeah Gunnery is brute force.....assault is finesse.
  5. Right now we are paying to play a BETA. Bugs are one thing.......features are another. To me a bugis oops we mispelled somehting that got over looked, or gear was not rewarded for a quest.... Instead we are still trying to fix the UI, Fix ilum, Fix bugged bosses in operations, and the list goes on.....2 MONTHS after launch. There is not even a guild bank in game.....name me one game that does not have a guild bank!! lol
  6. I have a life..I run a business, I go out to eat. I enjoy television like NCIS and Merlin. I make my hours count. I do not however go out to bars and drink. MMO's are my escape time from work and the hassles of every day life. I am sure you kids will understand that when you too have jobs, mortgage, loans etc.... The fact of the matter is this, in other mmo's it took several days to do a dungeon/raid or whatever you want to call it...it was a challenge. Even nightmare mode can be done in a single session here and yes have done them... I like pvp so most of my time is spent in the Warzones...and do ilum for my daily/weekly as needed. But doing the same Warzones over and over with the current hacks and exploits out has made them no fun at all, as you get into a warzones and one side has 10-16 ppl and the other side the minimum, game ends in 120 sec. Or someone has the speed hack and is on the doors or the turrets or the huttball before you are even down the ramp... No other mmo to date has had this little content or easy mode to level as this game...maybe it is just the easy mode and the content gets blown thru so fast it looks/seems like there is little content....in the end it comes out the same. Oh well....just throwing that question out there to the devs, maybe give us some insight on what their thoughts are on this. Fanboys will persecute me for playing too much and not having a life, while those that agree with me are cencelling their subs daily......it is AoC all over again sadly.
  7. Dear Bioware, I have almost a full set of BM gear (1 piece to go). My companions Aric Jordan has full set champion eliminator, Elara Dorne full set champion combat medic, MX-4X is in full 58 mods, Yuun is in full champion combat tech, Tanno vik is in full champion super comando gear.. I have done EV and the HM FP and various others....and once i have the full rakata gear then what? It is not my style nor should we be expected to have to reroll to continue the game as you build a bond to your main and wish to improve on that character, plus interact with friends and guildies with it in a social aspect. Logging on to alts gets confusing for other players, plus the level difference makes it hard to grp with them, when you can simply just use your main for that purpose.... So I ask you, now what? Yes story line is done, and I am pretty much done with all upgrades, have various vehicles in my collection and millions in credits unspent.....rolling an alt to see the other classes is not optional for me.....as I have a simple play style, make a character and play it out as I have in many others games.... AC, DAoC, E&A, SWG, EvE, WoW, War, AoC, Pirates, and many more......all played with several being for many years, such as AC, DAoC SWG and WoW.....never had to roll an alt for content. I played each game from launch, so yes I know what was missing from each game, like itemization from level 30 up in DAoC, AC had the macros hacks to make tons of cash, WoW had issues where you could not buy a copy for the first 4 weeks of launch unless you went to e-bay, and molten core was it, and you were capped at level 60...etc etc.. I did not power level and surely was not first on my server to be 50, nor was I first to be valor 60 and get a full set of BM, but i do have 26 days 20 hours played time...so I am on alot as a run a large guild and must be on to help others, and organize events, and answer daily questions..... So once again I ask, what now? besides running my guild, there will be soon absolutely nothing left for me to do in the game.......
  8. and add immunity to stun mez root timers.....The chain CC is way out of hand and is really making the game no fun. After a mez/stun, there needs to be a 30 second immunity to all forms of CC. The CC wars are getting to be a little much lately.

  11. never said it was, but was used as a comparison to show the time it took to get gear in WoW vs here. Ppl were content with the time it took nd bragged when they got a piece....here it is expected to get your gear fast....sometimes not fast enough.

  13. also by doing this most ppl will not drop from the WZ matches as they are there to get tokens, whereas now most are there for daily and weekly wins

  15. Sorry game is too easy and fast.....needs to slow down alot! Nothing we can do about champion, BM, Rakata stuff, but we can make changes for the future gear. remove limits on how much we can carry in WZ and merc tokens, same for the pve tokens. Remove all bags from the game. Set level limit and valor limit for pvp items Centurion change to level 45 1000 WZ 1000 Merc tokens Champion gear items, 5000 WZ 5000 merc tokens BM gear items, Valor 60 10000 WZ 10000 merc tokens Next gen PvP gear Valor 80 50000 Wz 50000 merc tokens Pve same set up.......let the players pick and choose what to buy and when to buy it. Also for pve use the social ranking to qualify to buy gear in addition to the tokens and crystals. Add additonal social quests............. Now let the grind begin......
  16. Ilum as it is, is a simple zerg fest with no meaningful pvp. Get your 30 kills and then hit the Warzones.....done for the day. Scratch ilum......wipe it out. Lets start over...... Ilum v2.0 Keep southern and Northern fortress (repub and imp fly in zones) ADD 4 fortress, each can be claimable by a guild (1 fortress per guild). Guilds can upgrade various areas of fortress with money (since we have nothing to spend it on now anyways except vehicles). Automated Turret upgrqade (more hp or more damage, the higher you go the more it coests) Main door upgrades (thicker doors takes longer to destroy them, but also costs a ton more cash to upgrade) Player controlled turrets (upgrade same as automated turrets) Fortress Commander (upgrade him to be stronger and more powerfull in various areas) Basically the attackers must shoot down doors, melee bang on them. till door is dead. Each fortress should have 4 automated turrets (2 outside to protect the doors and 2 inside to protect the base commander) and 2 player controlled turrets on the walls to shoot at enemy. Each fortress should have ladders on outside of walls to give the enemy stealthers a chance to sneak into the base to try and disable Generator that powers the turrets or kill players inside the fortress. Turrets once detroyed are on one hour timers to respawn (reward 5K valor to the Ops that kills it) Turrets have a range of 50. Generator has 50K HP. Once destroyed on one hour timer to respawn. Goal is to kill the Fortress commander and take over the base and claim it. Overall goal is for one side to claim all 4 bases and open up a special operations to that side only. This operation would drop tokens to buy the warlord pvp gear. The pvp vendors would be located inside each of the fortresses that is claimable. Now to champion and battle master bags. Change the costs on champion and battle master gear. BM chest costs 10 tokens BM belt cost 7 tokens BM weapon costs 14 tokens Each BM chest has 1 garaunteed BM tokens. You want to have a slower progression on players buying gear...here it is, just now players can actually work to the gear they want and are rewarded everyday for their efforts. Champion bags....same as BM chests. Centurion gear, lower req to level 40 and purchasable with warzone tokens at 200 each. Buying bags Centurion bags 200 WZ tokens Champion bags 200Wz 200 merc Battlemaster bags 1000Wz 1000 Merc You want meaningful pvp, here it is. You want ppl to have fun...here it is. You players rewarded for their efforts...here it is....now it is up to you. Players will take pride in their fortresses, Empire and republic will take pride in owning the zone..... And last but not least, you will have to remove the cap on how many can be on ilum and fix your network issues for large scale pvp....has been done in many others games i am sure you guys can do it too.
  17. Basically here is how the bug works Ilum1 you get credit for the first kill...then after nothing. Ilum2 and Ilum3 works till you get 50 consecutive kills then you have to suicide to reset your character. After that it seems every 10 kills you have to suicide to reset your character to get credit again. On Helm of Graush we had a massive fight in Central in which both sides fought for many hours with equal numbers and weekly/dailies were done in no time as we figured out how it worked. Also there is another bug. If you group (no ops) and say ilum 2 is full, add someone from outside the instance to the grp and they can switch to your instance no problem. Only works in groups and bypasses the max limit for the zone. Also /stuck is still not fixed. They did add a 90 sec timer on it, but it still allows you to spawn back where you originaly died thus giving the player instant access back to the battle. Does not work in WZ.
  18. So I made Battlemaster as have countless others. Compared to the Rakata gear, Battlemaster gear has the same base armor value, but Rakata has slightly better stats, no expertise. PvP weapon much better than Rakata weapon.... With that said, what now? did all the quests and did all the storyline....operations drop gear sub par to pvp gear (playing on a pvp server). Ilum is a zerg fest for the dailies and weeklies, with about 6 FPS for the most part....so what was the end game again??? Ppl say roll an alt..........and by my estimation you will HAVE to roll an alt for the legacy implementation to gain legacy experience faster. So alt rolled, but once I hit 50 and battlemaster with Alt, what then? I am genuinely asking this, not to knock bioware or the game, but what is the end game???

  21. Really? No guild bank? That is one of the most essential things a guild MUST have lol. EVERY game has it.....come on Bioware, lets git'er done. Also the UI bug where guild list goes haywire needs fixing too....
