  1. I beat good Marauders 1vs1 all the time as a Vanguard. It is a tough fight. Bad Marauders drop me to 85% (omgash he did a whopping 15% dmg to me!) before they die. Tell me, which class will you go after once they nerf Marauders?
  2. I play a Vanguard. Marauders are not overpowered. There went your argument.
  3. I have absolutely no trouble at all with Marauders or Sents on my Vanguard. None. But then, I don't start every fight with cryo grenade and expect hammer shot to do enough dmg to kill them. Player smarter, not harder.
  4. I actually got added to a WZ last night that was completed already, and apparently had been for some time. The scoreboard was gone, and everyone but one guy on my team had left the WZ. My guess is he went AFK after the WZ ended, and the stupid code these devs created began refilling the WZ even though it was over. I was dumbfounded.
  5. Elementary math is obviously far too complicated for these developers.
  6. So because you play a sniper, and shoot random different Vanguards who you "think" are wearing tank gear (or not), you know better how the gear works for Vanguards than say, a person who plays a Vanguard and has both sets of the gear in question? Love the logic behind that. You are extremely wrong, and only look more foolish the more you talk about this.
  7. Do not agree. I do MUCH better on my Vanguard versus snipers and Marauders while I am wearing combat tech gear (DPS), as opposed to the supercommando gear (Tank). And I mean MUCH better. They do no more damage to me (none, zip, zilch, nada), but I can punch back, and HARD at times. The same thing on my Sentinel. Tank geared Vanguards or BH's stand no chance whatsoever, whereas the DPS geared ones are a nice challenge. I am wondering where you got the idea the tank stats helped versus these two classes. Plainly said, Tank gear is a waste of time for tanks.
  8. This is different from a knockback, push, etc, How?
  9. I agree for the most part. The only thing I disagree on, is why people might not like the warzones. I personally do not like them, because I have played each of the three so many times they are just plain painful to go through again. Need new content, and fast!
  10. The quoted shows just how little you understand about this game. Level up to 50 and then comment.
  11. ^^^^^ This! I have played other games where it took a month to get a single piece of gear. That is of course AFTER you leveled to the bracket, and pvp level of the gear (so you would need to be lvl 50, 50 valor rank to start farming for champion pieces). This gear grind does not take long enough, and should be lengthened.
  12. Same here. That or I will still leave, and just AFK off whatever bogus penalty they put on me. I do not have time to waste on losing games because some nub wants to run around trying to duel every sith in the warzone instead of trying to win. Some of us have busy lives, and cannot sit on Mommy's computer all night playing.
  13. They have ways to track this, they just don't do anything about it. It's a catch 22 for them...They can either A. Ban the exploiters and lose a mass of subs when the aforementioned exploiters and their friends quit for good... or B. Do nothing to the exploiters and lose a mass of subs when the casual, non exploiting players get tired of being cheated, and quit themselves. Unfortunately, since they handled all this so poorly in the beginning, the exploiting has become rampant, and there is no way to recover. This game is already doomed to mediocrity and an early death IMO.

    Kill Traders

The difference between Champion and BM gear is so small, you shouldn't even notice it. A good player in Champ gear should ALWAYS stomp a bad player in BM. I do agree with the assessment that the kill trading needs to stop however. It is not the intended use of the Ilum pvp zone, and should be classified as an exploit (and in cases where abused to the extreme, people should be banned. All users should be penalized). The era of ignoring faults in the game, and not penalizing people who take advantage of said faults to get ranks, gear, etc, should be closed soon. As an aside, I have been told that using /stuck to warp back to where you died is 100% an exploit, and anyone using it will be dealt with in one way or another. I know a lot of kill traders use this as part of their system, so maybe in a round-about way they will get themselves in trouble for trading. We can only hope Bioware finally puts their foot down.
  15. As an Iron fist, which is mostly shield spec, I can kill non healer sorcs in 5-6 attacks easily, every single time. The healer ones I can kill, but it takes longer. They never kill me in a 1vs1 however. Even the healers are so focused on staying alive they have no chance to attack me back. I would say Marauders are the toughest, simply because they can do some good burst and if I don't time my skills right, I end up taking a lot of the damage. I rarely run into one that is any trouble for me however. Assassins are cake. I had one attack me after I won another 1vs1, when I had 4k health left and no cooldowns remaining. He got me down to 500 health before I killed him, meaning I took away 14k health from him before he could do 3600 to me. I only ever have good fights against them if they are tank spec and kite me a bit. Even then I can limit them by using charge and harpoon to keep them close enough for my SS and Ion.
